Living in Puyallup I see far more trump support signs than I'd like to
which is to say, I've seen at least one
I have a few students who are very conservative.
And they have major disagreements against Senator Sanders.
But they fucking hated Bloomberg.
One of my friends teaches in red-state "evolution is a myth" California. She says it's ... Interesting.
But she did have one great module where she gave the kids lists of features of economic-societal models without the names and asked them which theyd prefer to live in, and they all without fail picked option D or whatever, and she was like "well that's communism" and apparently their tiny minds exploded.
My Facebook feed showed me an ad for some private conservative college today that was like "take our socialism survey top find out how bad socialism is" and I did a quick Google of them, saw some of their course names, and reported the ad as offensive.
I caught part of a documentary on them and the amount of money that family drained from their local community is staggering. Each of the kids learned how to play and got their own violin, and learned to ride horses and all kinds of other shit that the family basically didn't pay a nickel for, getting all of it from the church. Which, you know, if everyone involved is okay with that, it's fine! But, goddamn, maybe stop at 10 kids and use some of that money to help the homeless or a local food bank.
Before we table West Wing chat I just want to say I've only watched some of the show but someone posted this clip the other day and I hate it so much https://youtu.be/HKTqS4bXugg

shortly thereafter they launched a spinoff starring some of the other kids, and soon all the other kids, and the original parents
tlc can eat shit
I'm sure she is, but being an older child in families like that is also essentially a full-time uncompensated job
given she threw herself into efforts to try and get a really shitty bathroom ordinance through in our town i hope she cant sleep
they're the kind of religious where women do not get to have opinions
Religion will fuck you up
Hot take: every single needle drop this season sucks complete ass. Too on the nose, goes on too long. Every time.
The season itself is pretty good! But maaaan, the music implementation could use some work
Every time the bloom starts to come off the Leftovers rose, they give me something absolutely riveting and amazing
This is very my jam. And also fairly creepy to watch when you’ve literally just moved to the bay.
You get used to the giant baby statues

It hasn't been that since Trauma Center went off the air. They never expand the acronym anymore.

It's got all the hallmarks, including an old white dude saying nothing at all while triumphant music plays
But AJ don't you want to know if reality is, like, real
