PA pals, I need your help. Some of you also need the same help!

I have a 5yo. We are currently on spring break, but I'm likely to extend that into "social distancing week" for ?? amount of time.

Give me your video game recommendations for very young children. iOS, Steam (low to mid-PC requirements), 3DS, or Switch. Preferably cheap or free.

Things he likes: Kirby Clash (bad at it), Mario Kart (quite good at), Mario Maker (ok at), anything LEGO.

Things he can't do: Read.

I really need Animal Crossing to come out a week earlier.

Switch: SW-4133-1546-2720 (Thera)
Twitch: akThera
Steam: Thera

The Lego games are all on sale on the Switch right now actually so you could always grab a new one. Minecraft maybe? They're more expensive but the remastered Spyro games are great, or maybe subscribe to Nintendo online and play the NES and SNES libraries.

I was going to suggest Minecraft, too.

Maybe browse some Steam curator lists? This one seems reasonable for games to play together with young children.

Untitled Goose Game seems like good fun for all ages? The goals are obviously written, but you can read them for the child if necessary, or just let them mess around.

If he likes Mario Kart you could give Sonic All Stars Racing: Transformed a spin, because that's an excellent and similar game.

Captain Toad Treasure tracker is 40 for the switch, and has couch co-op with an assist mode if that's something you'd want to do.

My 4 year-old like to shoot tomatoes at bad guys while I pick up the treasures.

    I've heard Luigi's Mansion 3 is good co-op with a kid.
