I've never seen a scorpion. I've only seen one spider. I've seen Tarantulas aplenty.

Scorpions are Southern Hemisphere beastie right now. I have never run into a scorpion only island though and I constantly see people talking about Tarantula islands.
spent way too long trying to catch stupid stringfish on my island, so figured i'd try to fish one up on a mystery island just for a change of pace
pretty sure the island was normal, but fish were spawning more often and i ended up catching the stringfish within like 5 minutes, then the literal next catch was my very first char
anyone still trying to bag one might wanna give that a try!

My bad, I assumed because it was just called "garden gnome" and it was so unique it had to be customizable.

I spent 20 mins earlier today just collecting clams. I'd hit max capacity, plop my workbench down, make a stack of bait, and go back to clams. I stopped at 50 bait. I evenly split the bait between top area and the mouth of the river. I need the String fish and Sturgeon too, been looking for days. It was even raining! Still got neither of them. Guess I'll try fishing on other islands...
Okay a balloon just dropped me a Pan Flute you can actually play and I can't wait to annoy my friends with this thing

Man once you get the resident services building the game just opens up. I was gonna sink all my miles into bell vouchers but just saw all the stuff you can order with miles now... Holy crap! Lighthouse! Vending machines! This is amazing

yes, Northern and Southern have different monthly catches.
