One more hour until reset.. Cannot wait until these damn eggs are gone.. I really hope future holidays aren't this disruptive. (honestly it's the balloons and fish that were the freaking worst)
Also one more hour until I can try again to kick Ed out after realizing I freaking never built the last house and that's why the amiibo thing wasn't working -_- I sent the guy a poop emoji hat and dude wouldn't even wear it.

I was thinking I hadn’t had one for a while, then I twigged that none of my residents had workbenches any more! Crafted up a bunch to handout to hopefully fix that.
Much as I like the game, AC:NH sure is an odd duck sometimes. A lot of the time, really.
It goes to great pains to explain how some of the mechanics work (to the point of reminding you in each and every interaction), but then leaves critical things completely vague. The fishing tournament having an end time of 6:00pm before the day it happens is an easy one, how terraforming won't affect beaches so don't build too near to them, that moving houses doesn't remove the existing house during the move, that the Able Sisters shop doesn't open until you've talked to Mabel a few times (which caught out a friend, who had terraforming before his clothes shop), the upgrade to Nook's, Amiibo imports requiring three invites over three days, etc, etc.
Understandably there's a lot you don't want to say ahead of time to keep a sense of discovery, but at the same time certain things would be nice to know before I end up having to move every single building on my island, most of them twice. Sigh.
Afternoon of 87 for me. Spent the morning exploring the Museum while Blathers had an owl nap in the foyer. Bought some rugs from Saharah and met Harvey who's invited me over to his island. Nook showed me the ropes on DIY furniture customisation, but I couldn't seem to customise stuff like clothing. Does that unlock later?
It was very satisfying to dig up a fossil every single time this morning, no more damned eggs.

When the game decides it's time for a villager to be crafting something to give to you, they will swap out a piece of furniture and suddenly have a bench, and then swap it back later.
Credits rolling? Did I beat the game or is it just now starting? And why the hell did the concert take on a horror movie ambience at first? And what drugs did Slider slip me for the cosmic effect?
Lordy that moment when you here a balloon and you check to see if it's worth it and you realize they're all worth it now is amazing. a great punishment is lifted.
I'm building a bamboo maze that leads up to my house and I wanted to make it like a lil mini Zelda puzzle.
If anyone would like to donate bamboo trees/sprouts/wood I'd be happy to work out payment or trade!

My turnips are at 64 this morning. I didn't get a crafting recipe from any of my villagers this morning also. I was just hoping that was due to most of them sleeping.

It’s not a thing during festivals, and we just had the fishing tournament and bunny day back to back. You should be getting one a day again from now on.
Hot damn have a huge field of flowers prints bells. $60-$90k each time. It's like shooting fish in a barrel, but its moths/butterflies/beetles instead.
I know there are power armor helmets. Are there boots too? I might add a Hall of Armor in addition to giant robot mission control for long term goals.

Agrias butterflies are like Fighter Jets if you miss your first catch attempt!
I would love to come by and buy one of those suits. I have a helmet that goes with it.

I have seen Wisp, but remember: Ghosts are what Wisp is afraid of. Maybe this is why Wisp is so... jumpy.
