Other than the obvious turnips, golden roses definitely seem like the long term money move, 2 days or so between harvests, 1k per plant. Stacks up to 10 in your inventory, don't gotta shake and then pick up. I've got 1 gold rose right now and a huge field of red roses making more black roses. Seems like a thing that could snowball really quickly if you get some good hybrids.
