My village has Ed. Ed is a horse trying to improve his social media presence. He has a framed photo of himself on his mantle. I would super like Ed to live somewhere else so I haven't spoken to him in a week.
Today he had the thought bubbles so I rush over to tell him it's OK to go like his influencer dreams elsewhere but no, Ed does not want to leave. Ed wants to do a scavenger hunt which, honestly, is kinda cool. So I run around and find the treasure he burried and bring it back to him. He then tells me the package contains his "zest for life." Ok Ed, this is getting a little weird. Then I open it.
I have complainted about Octavian to Isabelle no less than 6 times and he's still as happy as a clam.
That's not what complaining does. That feature resets a villager to factory default in-case the player you got them from taught them to swear or whatever. It's not the 'I don't like you' button.

My understanding is that you hit them with a net until they leave.
They might not leave, but you still got to hit them with a net.

So is the next chance for the cherry blossom recipes next year?
1) Ignore them completely (not even net attention)
2) Give them ALL THE ATTENTION, as they’ll ask to move once you’ve reached max friendship (a nice invisible number)
3) Invite an amiibo to your campsite 3 times and move them in instead. You’ll be able to choose who moves out. (You need a full 10 villagers for this method)

I used Turnip Exchange last week fine. Took about 30 minutes total. But I went for a lower priced one (~500 when the top hits had 650+). I don't really foresee the need to use it after the next few weeks when my initial large renovations are done. It's a bit of a hassle getting on and off someone's island just for some bells.
