Yeah I don't know why I'm invested in it exactly, but I completely am.
Fun as it is to speculate when the hot space elves will start making out with and/or cooking and eating the hu-man, the writing feels like something I'd be decently satisfied with in a sci fi novel? At least so far.
Yeah I think it's because the writer is clearly putting a lot of effort into making it make sense, the art is chunky but detailed and expressive, and even though it is by the numbers scifi it is neither stupid nor poorly written by the numbers scifi
Have you ever looked at the supplemental material on the outsider site? Dude has published actual numbers and designs for the ships and stuff. We’re invested because he’s invested enough to do that, and it comes through clearly in the writing.
Even Jardin’s aside in his narration (ostensibly either to his diary or to his CO at the inevitable debriefing) in the last strip is also actually an aside from the author to the audience, saying “relax guys, I really am thinking about this clearly.”
“But if you don’t know? Well, in that case, you definitely still need to keep that person around — after all, you don’t want to be alone, heaven forbid! Just be sure to fend off any marriage proposals, so you’ll be free to entertain the offers from other gentlemen, at funerals or while you’re on vacation and such. It’s an arrangement that will work great for everyone, except for the guy you’re stringing along, but if he was worthy of better treatment I guess you wouldn’t be stringing him along, would you?”

she's totally going to get Sal for backup, right?
Even money on if she is forced to done a silly costume against her will.
Thinking about it 'logically' (as in the logic they're likely to be using rather than our pedestrian sane logic), the priority should be getting to Mike in the hospital.
On tonight's DoA, percentages take point as well as self-admitting replacements. Also, a theory of mine that I posted here about how things will go feels a little stronger after the first panel.

The Patreon exclusive strip about Joyce's increasingly stupid novel is much better than the current plot has been. I wish that was the main plot.
Questionable Content might be NSFW? I'm not sure. There's content that might be considered questionable, which I suppose is on-brand.

Apologies if it's already been posted but Scurry is now complete. It's a comic about mice and other animals trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The art is good, so if you want to binge a comic, now's a good time.

First time I've seen it, art looks pretty high quality.
All the Zelda 3DO games were animated by the same Russian(?) animation studio and everything about them is just nuts a simple exchange with a shopkeeper will give you anxiety and motion sickness and vertigo
Every single warrior that comes to that gods-cursed ring thinks they have a chance at their drop of blood. The great tragedy is their inability to perceive that the long line of contenders has stretched not only over months, or years, but over many times the natural lifespans of wiser and saner men who have died old in their beds. What the Emperor wants to see in them, I don't dare to know. He will drink oceans of blood before he does.
