Edit: Also I love how Optimistic Ogre is no different from any of the other Ogre cards they've printed in the past, mechanically, just that instead of "wrong enemy" it's "correct enemy".
Okay am I wrong in thinking that Tickatus is really fucking good though
Like, Rin saw play before, right. And that was a slow card with the payoff of forcing your opponent into Fatigue.
This is a much easier card to pull off, and it burns 5 cards and puts your opponent closer to Fatigue, which can and often will win you Control matchups.
Or like imagine slamming this after someone plays Polkelt down.
It's hard to use it against Polkelt because the earliest you can mill cards is turn 8. I do agree that the milling is a solid, tutorable approach to control games, especially if you can get multiple off Felosophy.
He's also just fine in Zoo as a 6 mana 8/8 that comes back with Kanrethad Prime.
If it's easy to activate the corrupt it's good. I'm withholding my judgement on a lot of Corrupt cards because since I haven't been playing it's a bit harder for me to conceptualize the play pattern. Needing to hold it and then play it "off-tempo" with something else after playing something higher cost than it is a hoop, no matter how easy of one it winds up being.
I don't see pulling off Corrupted Tickatus (and not just losing the game right after) being a common occurrence, but god damn will it be frustrating when it does happen to you.
Hmm so specifically looking at Deck of Chaos, there's some interesting possibilities. The most obvious ones are Malygoose and Jaraxxo, buuuut there's some other interesting applications, perhaps:

i'm not sure what kind of weird rogue deck would want to use Cloak of Shadows except like, what, Wild Fatigue Rogue or something I GUESS? i mean evasion never saw like real play and rogue is a tempo-oriented class, not really a control one, so... fortune teller seems a bit meh too.
Fiery Win Axe became Fiery Lose Axe the moment it got nerfed to 3 mana. Literally the only time it's good now is when you have a turn 1 Imprisoned Gan'arg.
If I ever have to play arena just let me draft like 10 Claw Machines. It seems decent enough that it will see constructed play, but man, you are just going to want to gobble those up in arena drafts.

It only changes cards in your deck, not your hand.
Some of those cards have some good flavor, for what that's worth.
Revolve: First came Evolve to buff your board; then came Devolve to nerf your opponent's board; now comes Revolve to just fuck everyone's board.
Derailed Coaster: Imagining (tokens of) the minions on the coaster (your hand) flying off onto the board.
Other thoughts:
They are really trying to push some sort of Demonlock.
It's funny we were just talking about the shittiness of Fiery Lose Axe. Now for 1 more mana you can get the axe and a 2/5 with taunt! That's actually pretty good value. Seems quite playable and amazing in arena.

I think one of the devs mentioned a couple weeks ago that there was a 9 mana Corrupt card with a very powerful effect. I guess it was Carnival Clown?
Edit: Throw Glaive: Did they just make some new text to have a completely unexplained mechanic on a card? Yes, I'm sure a "temporary copy" is just the "expires at end of turn" mechanic, but nothing on the card explicitly tells you that.

It's funny we were just talking about the shittiness of Fiery Lose Axe. Now for 1 more mana you can get the axe and a 2/5 with taunt! That's actually pretty good value. Seems quite playable and amazing in arena.

I think one of the devs mentioned a couple weeks ago that there was a 9 mana Corrupt card with a very powerful effect. I guess it was Carnival Clown?
Edit: Throw Glaive: Did they just make some new text to have a completely unexplained mechanic on a card? Yes, I'm sure a "temporary copy" is just the "expires at end of turn" mechanic, but nothing on the card explicitly tells you that.
