Sniper I think I have that mobo at work and I know I’ve been in bios to set ram speeds. For me it has been that the prompt screen flashes so quickly my screen doesn’t have time to detect signal->go from standby to active->draw screen. That’s not to say you aren’t having another issue. I’ve also flashed that mobo’s bios from usb but I can’t remember why, I probably don’t have the factory bios version though.

As supportive as I am of poly relationships and families, I can’t say Utah making bigamy legal today is a positive thing. FLDS folks are waaay into sex abuse, misogyny, and child sex rings.

I’m very leery of the political goings-on in the Arizona-Idaho Mormon corridor. There’s lots of activism there and almost all of it really, really gross/bad/harmful.

While poly being a legal issue is frustrating as hell there are just so many horrible things about marriage in America that multipliers are not helpful until we fix some of the abuses. Utah is just one example.

Poly marriage is in a weird state where it's strictly either a 15th century broke thing or a 22nd century woke thing.

    I don't trust Utah though.

I think most poly people (myself included) are okay with laws against bigamy put in place to prevent sexual exploitation of women and children.

I’m never going to be an activist for legal poly marriage as long as the LDS has such a disproportionately large political base.

So the people who seem to know about Geoff Keighlys thing in 6ish hours seem to imply its "Epic" and "Unreal" so I wonder what kind of Unreal Engine news would be exciting

So like now im thinking what if Jason West (ex Infinity Ward and Respawn) went to epic to helm a new fully nextgen Unreal/Unreal Tounament

and honestly my brain cant fucking handle that.

    HUH!

Shouldn't they finish the Unreal Tournament that's been in development since UE4 launched ten years ago first?

I'm seeing that West left Respawn in 2013. So wouldn't it be sort of like fair to say he's mostly just ex Infinity Ward. He probably worked on Titanfall but that was a year before its release even.

He spent his time at Respawn dealing with the legal shit from Activision iirc

So while he didnt work on Titanfall much I assume his work probably let Vince Zampella work on getting Respawn started and TF made

So i guess this means they lose statehood, right?

Since we made them denounce polygamy as a condition of said statehood?

The housing market is supposedly opening in the UK, so in theory I could start looking to move again

All I would need to do is:
    • Completely break down my home office and living room setup so the listing photos don't look like the lair of a post-apocalyptic accountant
    • Accept that a load of people are going to come in to my home while I'm working, bringing disruption and possibly the 'Rona
    • If I ever get an offer, try to find a new place of my own in a location which only makes sense once I'm not working from home
    • Use public transport to look at said places, exposing myself to people who are just trying to do their job
    • After all this, spend time and money packing everything up to move, once again exposing myself to people
    • Start living my life in a city where I can't see the people I would be moving for, in a flat closer to the office I'm not going to, in square footage less than I have now, but maybe with two bathrooms

In conclusion: hooray, no more dealing with estate agents in 2020

I think in terms of rights for polyamorous folks, we’re generally far more advocates of things like expanded insurance coverage, asset protections, and benefits than we are concerned about being able to get legal documents saying we’re married to multiple people.

That seems to be the divide, really. Polygamy advocates seem to be much more concerned about legalizing harems.

You can't be in the house if viewings are happening. It's not clear where you are meant to be during the viewings. Probably working on a construction site.

My Apple Watch is really uneven in detecting when I'm standing. Sometimes I can trick it by just holding my arm straight down for a minute, other times I can pace around the whole apartment fairly vigorously for five minutes and it won't detect it.

Unless this comes with a caveat that all the food produced there still belongs to the US this seems a tad short-sighted. Though it would probably utterly fuck large agri-business so that's a plus.

Also iirc that makes my state the 3rd most powerful nuclear nation in the world so... yay?

Consider: you feel bad, and that isn’t good. We want to change that. So the solution is to stop feeling bad- start feeling good, actually.

    That’ll be 300 dollars.
