I bought Monster Train and Griftlands (buying it on Epic gets you a Steam key anyway, if you care about that sort of thing) because I played and loved Slay the Spire, but right now I'm still trying to wrap my head around how to actually play both of those games.
And then I give up and just go play more Slay the Spire.
Woo new comp arrives tomorrow, super excited. I checked like the steam sales predictor site and they said there might be a big sale towards the end of the month, so I’ll try and hold off on some of the more expensive games I want till then

Yeah I think Im going to wait on Monster Train and get Griftlands next week. I looked over the changes and it looks like the rpg aesthetics are slick and the choices you make in game are going to matter (Rook's story has him choosing between two factions). If MT stands the text of time I'll probably get it eventually but Ive gotten almost 200 Slay the Spire hours in over the last year so I worry MT might be too similar right now.
I finished Hidden Folks: On Tour All the HF content comes in at just under 10 hours for me. This newest expansion seems easier (more small areas) but the music theme is awesome, and might be my favorite area of the game.
And I re-picked up Forager over the weekend. Ive been tired lately so the casual play has been great. Lost a few hours trying to get mats to craft new gear. There's a quest to get poop for a fox boy and you can craft animal feed which for some reason requires poop to make. Just goes to prove the old adage right: It takes poop to make poop.
Ooh, I didn't realize that the epic store gave me another $10 coupon. Maybe Griftlands is in my future after all.
Battle 2.1
Ok when I said I'd pick this back up on Tuesday, I meant last Tuesday, but it's A Tuesday!
Kicking off the start of Round Two it was @Soundsplush VS @anoffday
Soundsplush was ready to launch their best act yet. Lifting a christmas alligator over their head! The cyclops artist was sure to be the talk of the town, and posters were all over town.
However Anoffday sued for copyright infingement. They were the christmas alligator (or crocodile?, anyway) and it was bad for their brand. Alligator copyright attorneys won the legal battle, then they all took turns chomping up the posters.
Anoffday wins with scissors vs Soundsplush's paper
Next up! It probably won't take me weeks before the next battle but I understand if it takes you a bit to send me your choices.
"We are proud to announce no further Persona games will be ported to Steam at this time after the failures of the PC debut of the series with Scramble and and Dancing All Night. Unfortunately, the interest just isn't there. Thank you."
I was just sitting there, trying to save the Earth from aliens in Destiny 2, when I was assassinated with a double-tap of love. You're a peach, @destroyah87 .

*smile and polite bow*
Both of those would find a PC audience especially the latter.

Fuck, even I would buy it and I don't give a crap about rhythm games.
Been desperate to throw money at Atlus for PC ports for over ten years now.
Battle 2.2
Since those answers came back pretty quick may as well keep the momentum up.
Also it's not Steam but if you ever wanted an instant backlog of indie games there's a 1k+ bundle on itch.io of various games, stories, tabletop rpg doodads, some stuff I'm pretty sure looks porny. There's a lot, I'm sure there's a decent amount that's slight or halfbaked, but there's multiple things in there worth at least the min buy in by themselves. And it's like $5 at minimum.
Back in ancient roman times a secret cult was formed. They worshipped the little known god Orivon. Orivon helped the downtrodden and less fortunate...with curses!
At the same time, Emperor Iolo wished to test out his latest invention. A update to his ingenious toenail trimmers. Unfortunately his many servants couldn't seem to use them properly and would double unfortunately end up being sentenced to death once they damaged his toes through their incompetence.
The damage was quite severe this time, and on his way to execution, the poor servant prayed to the cult of Orivon to punish Emperor Iolo.
The cult of Orivon still exists even now, and worshippers take pilgrimage to the severed foot of Emperor Iolo who turned into a giant statue shortly after having his foot severed in a terrible toenail trimming accident.
Well it's certainly sounding like some Persona game is coming to PC/Steam, probably Persona 4 Golden.
Sorry, PSVita enthusiasts.
I'm happy about it. PSVita is just something I had to put up with to play some rad games. Let me play those games on a large screen with a good controller, pls. I'm not really a fan of handheld consoles for that reason.
Remember that itch.io bundle for racial justice and equality with >740 games/books/asset packs for a minimum contribution of $5? Well, it has now raised $3.1 million USD and it now features over 1,400 games/books/asset packs. There's a huge range of stuff in there and I haven't had a chance to go through and see the new stuff yet, though it appears as though Celeste is now in it as well as Nuclear Throne and some RPG from Failbetter Games.

And it has a thread!
Apparently they do and they've been raked over the coals for it because if you don't buy the DLC and unlock stuff that way you're kinda fucked.
Kudos to the developer for responding to this with balance and gameplay changes over time but the reviews aren't kind.
Still plan on giving it a shot.
Kao the Kangaroo Round 2 is free to keep. Again.
I've already got two copies of it! (I bought it on sale on the Switch as well. My backlog - my Steam backlog! - is even creeping over there too.)

Talk about a series thats needed a presence on PC forever.
Is it just Stardew Valley? Have you tried different resolutions, in-game and hardware?

P4 golden or P5 royal would make the most sense.
It's ok, all four of us are used to it by now.
Theres so much smoke that its pretty much confirmed at this point.
Both of those would find a PC audience especially the latter.

This match is @iolo VS @Orivon
The damage was quite severe this time, and on his way to execution, the poor servant prayed to the cult of Orivon to punish Emperor Iolo.
Orivon defeats Iolo's scissors with rock.
There's a high chance it's going to have Denuvo, and if it does I refuse to support it.

Not-awesome: it doesn't have a release day discount.
yes. The tv is horizontal shifting the image to fit. It is half off to the left. Most games corrected to what the desktop was.
Stardew Vally went to a res that I do not know. The right side is all wrong, and the mouse will not click on the right side buttons.
I considered controler windowed, but the messed up UI is annoying.
I really wanted to play cause of berry..
What a time to be alive.

Does the TV have a menu setting to adjust the aspect ratio?

I don't care what anyone says. Vita was and still is super sexy.
