Hey all! I'm a university student and I recently changed my major to art. I've been doing art for most of my life, so I'm not a complete beginner, but I'm also not a master at any particular skill or medium. This summer, I really want to practice hard to give me a boost for my upcoming classes. The problem is, I have no idea where to start.
I hope to do illustration or animation for my career, so I'm not sure if I should start with learning anatomy and character design? I've also considered returning to basics, like shading and perspective and practicing those thoroughly, even though I already learned them when I was younger.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation or have any advice as to which is the best plan of action for an intermediate artist?
