It seems like every other time I talk to Celeste I get a wand. Last four time five times was gold wand, star fragment clock, mum wand, meteor, and now rose wand. Is it just me?

I finally got Redd the other day. Was so happy to see him as well. This is the first time in 5 weeks I have not had Label either, so that was even better.
In general though, I find my motivation to play has just gone to zero again. There is no chance of seeing Redd until at least next week and he probably won't turn up then. So I don't really feel like playing at all.
I have only gotten Redd... once, I think? (Other than the scripted event.) But there is a point to playing and friending your neighbours--I got two legit paintings from them that way.
Somehow I never filled out my last villager/made my last plot, so I decided to hunt with Nook tickets to find someone cute or unique. I went to about 13 islands until i ran out of tickets, asked a friend to borrow some more, and a few trips later I found Dom, the sheep. He's freaking adorable, so I scooped him up quick. Yes Dom, I want to see us both get 30 pack abs like you promised me ok, you doofer faced weirdo
So Redd hasnt shown up at my island since May 5th.

I am positive of my numbers because ive logged in every day and i have moved my house to sit right next to the hidden beach entrance. I can see if hes there or not as soon as i log in. Gullivar was also MIA for a good 3+ weeks until he showed up two days ago.

Mable's has Samurai helmets, Rugby uniforms, Pinafore, and Gothic headdresses. Free stuff in front of shops and it's raining.

I had three of the "limited" visitors last week too, and NO Leif. But I wonder if the Thursday update last week "reset" the visitor flags.
Yea sorry guys, my spike was for the AM, which, can I just say is awful, as you only get four hours to get in before the price resets. If it was for the afternoon I'd get 9 whole hours to have you all over

I wanted to take sweet screenshots of everyone stopping by, but it turns out the camera also counts as a "menu" so the only one I got was when I had to basically tell @SilverWind "yo stand here"
BTW....does the game force you to take a random villager if you have an open plot for a length of time? One of my people moved out about a week ago, and ive just been taking my time looking for someone i like, but yesterday for some reason suddenly its marked as sold and some stranger is moving in today. wtf?

Within the first 24-48 hours, it'll randomly start to try to fill the plot. Not guarantee it will, but it's annoying
And by the by, if anyone ends up in a similar situation, you can make a villager and buy from Redd with them same day. I plopped some money down and got my Mona Lisa! Now to debate doing it two more times... Too many tents
There needs to be a better way to move a building back a few spaces, or forward, or to the side. Having to use two moves (and 2 days) to do it is disappointing.
My little villager section is a bit fucked because of the ways the moves work, but that seems like something they aren't going to change. You cant even move a villagers house if they are in the process of moving, or an empty plot. You have wait until its fully occupied again.

Yeah I had Rodeo move out and was trying to work around getting a classy villager (there was a nice sister animal, Muffy, who I should have picked up from a nook miles flight) and now I've got this lazy frog Raddle who moved in who freaks me out because his eyes aren't where they should be and the facemask makes him look like he's a Silent Hill monster.
This is one of the dumbest things in the game, on top of not making the villager count at least 12.
