Yeah I had Rodeo move out and was trying to work around getting a classy villager (there was a nice sister animal, Muffy, who I should have picked up from a nook miles flight) and now I've got this lazy frog Raddle who moved in who freaks me out because his eyes aren't where they should be and the facemask makes him look like he's a Silent Hill monster.
This is one of the dumbest things in the game, on top of not making the villager count at least 12.

Oh weird. I have a green one that you gifted me. I thought when I looked up a list of hybrids that I saw orange as one for the colors of the mums. Maybe I have all the colors of the mums then.

Please excuse the condition of my island, I moved my house last night and there’s a lot of work to do cleaning up after the move.
Instead of cleaning up, I spent most of my time today on Nook Mike Island tours looking for a villager to replace Rex; it took about 8 trips or so before I ran into T-Bone, and really, there was no option other to invite him to move in.
His house, Wolfgang’s house, and mine are all in one cranky corner together on the island, which seems fitting.

I've been using this the guide in the OP (edit) for a little over a week now. I'm only missing blue roses, green mums, pink roses, purple windflowers, and purple pansies. Luckily I have the hybrid flowers needed for all of those except the blue roses, so its just a matter of days now for those other ones.
If you've already got blue roses you've got the hardest one.

So Redd hasnt shown up at my island since May 5th.
WTF nintendo?
I am positive of my numbers because ive logged in every day and i have moved my house to sit right next to the hidden beach entrance. I can see if hes there or not as soon as i log in. Gullivar was also MIA for a good 3+ weeks until he showed up two days ago.
I honestly think Leif fucked up their randomizer.
I got Redd and Gulliver in the same week last week and that s not supposed to be possible
No that's entirely possible. Assuming you have Slider, you get 2 different visitors per week out of a pool of Redd, Gulliver, Label, CJ and Flick. The game is supposed to work by prioritizing whatever of the three you didn't get the previous week. So if you got Gulliver and Label, it should be a higher chance of getting Redd, CJ and Flick.
In practice this system doesn't work whatsoever. I find the game must deliberately make Redd much rarer than the others and for me, I had 5 weeks of Label straight.
I find it very infuriating that I'm penalized for having Slider turn up, as that cancels another unique visitor - and therefore a chance at Redd - every week. If I had known that we would just have never spoke to residential services ever. Terraforming was not worth the trade to barely have any chance of ever seeing Redd.
Broccolo, my mouse villager who vaguely annoys me and has been the subject of a low-key program of abuse in an effort to encourage him to leave, including gifting him the fleas I have caught off him and other villagers, today sent me a letter. Attached was what purported to be a Worthy Painting. I immediately assumed that the dastardly mouse had been in cahoots with Redd to procure a fake painting, to gain revenge for my bullying and to embarrass me with the noble and learned Blathers.
I immediately set off to the museum to explain the situation and gain proof of my suspicions. Blathers carefully inspected the painting, and revealed that this was indeed Delacroix's original Liberty Leading the People and took it from me for display in the museum's art wing.
I may need to review of my opinions of young Broccolo...
