Did you have an empty plot of land? If you don't fill it the day it empties usually someone will just randomly move in.

When I had Audie in my tent I bought the last plot of land went back to her {I stuck the plot on the NE corner of the Island as I was going to fix them in time...} So getting back to the tent and asking her to move in Diedre claimed it

Yeah that one confuses me. That shouldn’t have happened at ALL.
You'll want to dress to get wet, and bring any tools you think you might need to gain access to the island. It'll take more than a few minutes, so make sure you have some time to spare when you head over.
If you make it onto the island, you'll want to make your way over to the hedge maze. I've changed it up a little bit. If you make it all the way to the end, you can take your rightful place on the golden throne, and help yourself to a prize.

Anyone in need of stars? I've got a meteor shower going on that I had forgotten about. I didn't see Snobby Star Owl around but she may be hiding. Gate are open and I may be AFK as there is a call I need to be on happening soonish.

Also a bit of backstory on all the wes and ours. I originally picked up AC for my wife since she was going to have some downtime, but she doesn't play a lot of games. So much of the time, it's me at the controls because she'd rather that, but she likes it enough to play on her own as well.
Although whichever of us is at the controls we're probably both watching/playing together. She definitely enjoys visiting other islands and seeing everything people have set out, and had fun with the fishing tourney visits we had.
We're both terrible with the chat tool. Half the time I type the whole thing out and then hit the cancel button thinking it'll add a space.
Going back and forth between PS4 and Switch is really messing with my default button functions.
I need to install the phone app, I've just been lazy about it.

I first surveyed the island from the air, looking for the vulnerable points.
Next I had to see what resistance there was. Unfortunately a knight was guarding the front, so I decided to find another route.
I figured a watery entrance would be my best bet in,
But even that would have it's own share of dangers.
I did get paste the perimeter defenses,
Only to find a devious maze. It was the only thing preventing me from claiming my prize.
In the end, I was victorious.
And made my daring escape.
