So @milk ducks and I are playing a game today, and on the enemy team there's a Raynor who's player name is "Jimmy"
And he's just the most obnoxious fucking asshole. He's spamming the voiceline "this is jimmy" over and over and over. Just b-stepping and being an asshole. Spamming that voiceline nonstop.
I find this hilarious and awesome. I'd love to have that in a game.
Blackheart's Bay QM. I know I'll be matched up against the Samuro in the offlane, and I ask my team if they'd prefer me there or Tassadar. Nobody responds, which isn't a problem, because I can go Corpse Feeders / Medusa Blades / Bile Drop vs Samuro and farm stacks off of his Clones. The bitching from our 4stack happens essentially immediately. Everyone up there's at each other's throats. Team Chat is blowing up like, "Genji, you have no damage", "Tass why didn't you come to the objective?", "You guys are all trash", "Is this what Bronze players do, just bitch at people all game?", etc. I mean nobody will shut the fuck up. They're all playing like shit, objectively, but their failures are everyone else's fault.
Tassadar is complaining about Genji's damage, even though Tass went auto-attack build (which, Jesus wept, sucks anyway) and thinks there's a snowball's chance in Hell he can hang and trade against Greymane, Samuro, Tracer, or CS Varian.
Stukov is complaining that Mei can't peel for him, as if she could possibly peel Tracer / Samuro if she tried. And with that amount of dive? With that amount of crazy tricky super mobile dive, Stukov could have saved himself with the Swipe, rather than the Massive Shove which he has no realistic chance of landing against Tracer or Samuro.
It doesn't matter that they've played badly and made objectively poor decisions throughout the entire match.
It's always someone else's fault.
And meanwhile, I'm just quietly doing my fucking job and keeping us in the game. Meanwhile, I'm the one repeatedly interrupting turn-ins with long-ranged, lowered CD roach drops. Literally stalling out enemy turn-ins for the entire duration of my team's death timers. I'm the one Nydus-bouncing around the map, taking camps, gathering coins, sieging structures and creating space. I'm the one that's given you creep vision throughout the entire center of the map. When the enemy team went on Boss, and everyone wanted to run all the way across the fucking map to contest, I'm the one who took their Bottom Keep and forced an All Back, rather than allowing them to gg push us.
When Samuro and Tracer, twice tried to backdoor our 4% Keep, who was the one who stopped them with quick Nydus rotations? Stalled them out, and allowed us to clean up and trade-in? When my team floundered on taking the Hard camp outside of our base, the enemy team invaded, stole it, and tried again to gg push us along with a massive, beefy minion wave ... we literally would have lost if I hadn't snapped in Fury of the Storm and instantly cleared their wave with splash damage.
AND EVERYONE'S STILL BITCHING AT EACH OTHER. Like non-fucking stop.
I pried Victory from the jaws of defeat half-a-dozen times, never said a word in chat except to ask in the beginning which lane they preferred me in, and just focused on what needed to be done. When I got MVP at the end of the match? Did I get not even a single fucking upvote? lol, no. Even at the victory screen, Genji and Tassadar are still yelling at each other. Genji's like, "See, I got top damage; you're such a Bronze shitter", etc.
The Samuro wasn't half-bad, he just focused primarily on split-pushing macro, rather than team-fighting, and did actually rat us down pretty hard because nobody would / could punish him.
New Diablo 3 season starts today. Getting pretty excited. I'll be rolling a Demon Hunter for the first time, essentially. Valla will look good alongside my current stable of characters:
I know the weapons aren't all exactly correct in these transmogs, but it's because the weapon they have equipped is so much better than what I'd have to use to get the HotS-equivalent models in there. Xul is the furthest away from his in-game representation, and it's only because the D3 Necro sets look ... basically fucking nothing like the way he looks in HotS. Otherwise, though, I feel like I've done a halfway decent job with these, lol.

I worked at EB Games in Australia. We required proof of age for purchases of M rated content, and I always thought it was hilarious. Like kids would have to go get their mums, bring them back to the store, so they could tell us it's okay for their kids to buy Grand Theft Auto and the Witcher and shit. And any time they had a problem with it, they'd ring up my manager and complain about "that American bloke" who had given them a hard time.
Also hilarious to me would be whenever another store around Melbourne would call us for a store-to-store transfer, even though I'd clearly answer the phone by saying, "EB Games Werribee", all they'd hear was the American accent and they'd apologize because they thought they'd accidentally called the main office, lol.
There are literally a dozen people in my life who wouldn't bat an eye at any manner of swear word, no matter how offensive, but that lose their shit if you say "moist".
Played a SL game and my opponents all were level 5 and had the generic, starting avatar. Whelp, we're gonna get crushed this game.
And we did. Didn't help that our ETC used Q/W at the start of every single fight. No he has no buttons and has spread the enemy out screwing over me (Rag) and Jaina from hitting our AoE stuff. I'm pretty sure having a shitty Tank is the worst feeling.

You know what's hilarious is that people have a higher expectation for a decent comp in ARAM than they do in QM because ARAM uses a limited form of blind draft, so people will actually take a healer/tank when they know it's necessary and they have to fill.
