This is going to be the most underrated card in the set IMO
Note that I am not saying it is good, but rather that it is going to have the biggest gulf between where people rate it and what its actual rating is.
Tbf given how the community is reacting because of this fever pitch around White's place in the color pie, the card couldn't possibly be evaluated more negatively than it is right now.
i saw someone say, unironically, "imagine using this on a one drop, already losing on mana, and they get a free 5 drop" and it's like dog in what world is you spending your mana removing a one drop NOT a world where you are going to lose that game

Seems alright in limited for sure, where it is pretty easy to identify your opponents best card and limited mana curves means using it on a 5/6 drop will rarely see them getting more value off the new permanent.
I think a lot of the backlash will come (rightly) from the comparison with Ravenform: a common in blue that does the same thing for 2/3 types but better (and cheaper with foretell!), rather than Divine Gambit being the "worst ever".

It's still really bad through.
It's still bad, but like "mediocre limited removal and maybe sometimes sideboard card" bad.
Ravenform is definitely priming a lot of people to hate this, semi-justifiably since that card exiling artifacts is weird.
I think it's stuck in sideboard territory but there have been metas where I would have loved having access to this for white weenie. I think it's basically locked to a white weenie type deck though, and requires a certain meta. In situations where like 80% of the meta is Midrange Dudes, there's not much room for the other 20% of decks to be decks that that's good against.
like god, the most common take i see on how bad this is is people going "God, imagine exiling Uro, and then they just slam down Nissa or Ugin" and i'm like that sounds great! those guys can't block all these creatures i'm about to kill them with!"
we talk a lot about the magical christmasland failure of card evaluation where you construct very specific scenarios where the card is good, and i'm finding this a fascinating example of basically the inverse, people going out of their way to describe themselves putting it in decks where they should not have put it so it's bad, using it against decks they should have sideboarded it out against

If you're playing agro against an Uro deck, you've probably already lost without including mediocre removal. Regardless, we probably shouldn't waste too much mental energy on a random bad uncommon. If they meant it to be good, they would have printed it at rare like the actual good removal in white Skyclave Apparition.
So far the set is looking underpowered, nothing so far is going to impact standard while eldraine cards are still around. The 4 missing pathways will be a big boon to the color pairs that are missing a pathway and that's it so far.

is Kardur this plane's Surtr?
yes, all my knowledge of Norse mythology does come from videogames, Neil Gaiman, and Marvel movies, why do you ask?

I guess they figured with Tibalt running around doing his random shit, they could have a big dumb red enchantment without putting the word "random" on it

Decks running Great Henge make up over 50% of the meta. Adventures plays it, Food plays it, and Temur Ramp plays it

But no let’s keep pushing green guys

You’re sassin’ me and frankly, I deserve it.
So put that in a Giant deck and counter your own shock or something to get a free giant with the red upkeep Giant in the graveyard?

I just figured that was why they made Kaya the face of the set.

Well, it's a Tibalt card. Too random to be actually good kinda seems like his thing.
Bonecrusher Giant a Fervent Champion or something
I think that card is pretty bad though mind

In constructed it's best use is probably nuking a Theros God.

Lets me nuke a Great Henge though so happy days

Fun reprint.
They save that for the showcase cards.
Nah.
Give all colours counterspells so we can all play creature decks against Ugin.
Not that I'd start with red though, with it having access to haste and being fast enough to race Ugin in b the first place.
Didn't they ban clover?
Adventure cards are still very good, but I haven't seen them played as an archetype after that.
They did ban clover. Turns out it was just overkill and turn 4 henge is really hard to stop
You don't know what you are talking about and need to find something about Magic you enjoy besides whinging about Ugin.
