    I'm not sure I'm really in the mood for it right now, but is the Berserk on HBO Max now any good? I remember the newer movies being kind of trash, but don't recall hearing about these new seasons.

    Already watched/read Vinland Saga. I remember hearing negatives about newish Bersek, but wasn't sure what it covered.
    Any of the other HBO Max/mini crunchroll stuff worth checking out? Have already seen Kenshin, and will get around to FMA Brotherhood someday. The rest I was pretty much unfamiliar with.

    The sound effect is fine, the animation is a war crime. Berserk Musou has way better animation, color, and shading than a freaking TV series.

    I've been following the nettaigyo manga since the beginning and I'm only more confused than ever about where exactly the author is meaning to take this thing.

    It's never said anything outright but it's had gay subtext coming out the nose, to the point where you're like is it still subtext when we've got scenes of her parents seriously discussing how to let their daughter know they support her and her new [FRIENDSHIP] without freaking her out that they know?

    Then like nothing really happened for 10 chapters and it felt weird cuz a bunch of the subtext disappeared, and the author was all like, what, this is just a story about friendship! Right up until this chapter when suddenly they're talking about how beautiful the moon is, which is a classic Japanese lit romance line.

    well i guess 2020 is finally my gundam year, after finishing build fighters i'm now a cour into iron-blooded orphans and enjoying it immensely(though the tonal shift was, uh, stark, let's say)

    really hope these child soldiers get a happy ending where everyone lives and nothing hurt
