I remember having a VHS with 2 episodes of Slayer when I was a kid.
One episode had the gang go to a town that had some famous food, but it also had a law that meant one of their party had to stay outside of the town. Also, at the end, it was implied that the local delicacy was something disgusting.
Another episode involved a train? And Lina blew up a magic device on the engine?
Years ago I found out Dragon half has a manga and its very annoying nobody ever picked that up
I looked up some details about it/read some back in the day as well. It's probably best it never became widely available, there's lots of questionable stuff in there. The OVA making fun of how they couldn't fit all the plot in is better, really.
Just watched The Castle of Cagliostro to introduce myself to Lupin. I really enjoyed it! It's also interesting to see Hayao Miyazaki's directorial debut.
The thing about Castle of Cagliostro is that it is not representative of a typical Lupin adventure.
It is. It’s just much less horny
I wonder where Lupin III the First sits on the horniness axis?

MHA new chapter
Well dang
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
It's History's Strongest Desciple Kenichi (but less horny) where the MC is money-obsessed scrawny nerd and is fighting to have a successful youtube channel to pay for his mom's medical bills, and is learning single techniques to defeat different fighting styles from a secret youtube channel from a guy who wears a chicken head to mask his identity.
I have actually audibly cackled multiple times while reading it. It's great.
Promised neverland somehow updated despite being over?
So did Demon Slayer.

Reading reccomendations around, found Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. It is very good, young female apothecary-to-be dealing with courtly intrigue on the Emperor harem by being a mini Sherlock Holmes.
And a romance subplot I guess. Overall fairly interesting.
So someone recommended that I watch goblin slayer.
I really didn't need that first first episode in my life, or the knowledge that people like this.
What the fuck? Am I missing something here? Was I pranked in a mean way?
Goblin Slayer has the glimmerings of a good fantasy story in that the premise is sort of "what would sword and sorcery fantasy REALLY be like for adventuring parties?" So there's lots of stuff about not using huge cool fantasy swords in cramped corridors, spells being really cool... until someone slits your throat or screws up your concentration by hitting you in the face with a rock, etc. But then it turns out the author's interpretation of what that sort of adventure would really be like is... his rape fanfic. So uh. No thanks. Extremely no thanks.
The appealing parts are the serious takes of the D&D style high fantasy genre that Japan is so fond of. This one has objectionable elements; it's not the only one, and you should have been forewarned. Is the former part something you were even looking for? If not, then they weren't considering you at all.
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
Don't watch goblin slayer, I anti-recommend it. I can only assume people ever talk positively about it because they confuse rape and violence porn with good storytelling for cool mature adults.
Also doesn't matter if it's only episode one, that almost makes it worse because it's a cynical first issue sex appeal hook to get gross grognards to keep buying issues/watching episodes in the hopes of seeing more rape porn. Do not reward this kind of behavior.
From what I hear the graphic rape is confined to episode one, and episode one is just really tonally dissonant with the rest of the series.
That is not accurate.

The goblins reproduce through assaulting human women, this is one of their main motivations as a species. They are the main antagonistic force of the series... hence the title. Even when they aren't depicting such actions on screen, it is both the text and subtext of everything going on.

This looks unwinnable
So did Demon Slayer.
I don't read demon slayer because the anime is so well done that I just wanna see it in that form first.
Promised Neverland I got through like, six episodes before I had to know what the fuck was going on.
Or in OPM's case, because Murata decided to redraw an entire scene for some fucking reason.
Several times over on the same scene no less.
Is a fantastic visual
Gotta get that Phoenix Man v Child Emperor scene just right

I will say that as annoyed I was he kept redoing it over and over again, I had a good laugh at the fact
Oh my god seeing that KPTM countdown slate absolutely fucking sent me.

I for one think the show is garbage though, tbqh
Goblin Slayer is awful garbage and whoever recommended it is probably an edgelord.
Unless you misheard them and they meant Demon Slayer. Demon Slayer is pretty good.

If they recommended Goblin Slayer without giving you any content warnings then they deserve a punch in the dick.

Tokimeki Tonight, if google's to be believed. And if the synopsis is to be believed, sounds like Maison Ikkoku with vampires.
