i did some searching and the area in the center of bastion with the anima starved animals also seems good for skinning, as does any of the gorm hives in ardenweald as they all have quests there with people leaving tons of corpses to skin
Sorry just saw this, it’s called Kala’s Something and it’s just south of Hero’s Rest, in the gorge, on the left side looking at the map. Two rooms with four mobs each instant respawns
Shambler Milk raids on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 8pm server. We start with normal mode then once we clear it move onto heroic.
Here is a link to some rudimentary raid guides, based on PTR testing, so subject to change, but probably not changed TOO much if you want a guide. Some people like going in blind for Normal modes though so we won't be doing explanations before the fights.
Bring your own food and flasks, but if stuff is easy to gather this time and people throw materials in the guild bank, we could potentially try and make them available for the rest of the raid. There's a cauldron recipe but I don't know it yet, it requires Revered with Wild Hunt
No specific classes or roles are required; just come as the thing you want to play. We always end up with enough of what we need. Personal loot makes that stuff simple, but our policy on tradeable drops is: don't be a dick. If you get a duplicate item or something that you can trade that you literally have no use for except to vendor, this means that you could call it out in raid chat and allow for free rolls of that item for someone who can use it.
We don't have a set group size, so we try and bring as many people as we can. If you cant show up at the raid start that's fine, you can still show up during raid.
A disclaimer: This is typically only relevant for heroic, since Normal has customarily been pretty easy for us where it's not necessary, but we do monitor performance, to an extent. If we hit a brick wall that's indicative of a lack of basic performance (such as consistently hitting an enrage) we'll usually take a look at the logs and ask people who are not performing well to step out. In context this typically means that if you're doing less in damage than the health bonus your presence is giving the boss. It doesn't happen often, and isn't ongoing. If you're asked to step out on one raid, the next raid won't factor that in. Each call is made only with that raids performance as a gauge, and we try to do enough of the raid to at least get everyone their relevant raid achievement.
Also: I know in the past we've used the in-game voice chat, but last time a lot of people were having issues with it, so I wouldn't mind giving discord a try to use during the raid. The link is in the guild info.
I find discord is more reliable, but takes a lot more bandwidth than the battle.net voice or ventrillo, to the point that when I had ~1 MB/s internet discord voice was sometimes unusable. So beware if anybody else has rural internet.

Discord also likes to prioritize itself over other programs, so it can cause some really fun lag issues.

fwiw turning off packet priority usually fixes this for blizzard games, it’s in discord settings

I’m gonna try to raid here but my kids bed times have gone much later so I would almost always be something like 45-60 mins late. That might start to suck eventually. Going to see how it goes.

The domain name expired sometime last year because my credit card expired and I didn’t notice and it got bought out from under me by something amazing.

I’ll fix the link soon
won't someone please think of all the sunmotes that have been stolen because of this
Speaking of raid prep, enchants seem extremely fairly costed this time around materials-wise so if you have good purples get your shit enchanted
I made my hunter alt enchanting so I can make the enchanted leather and rank up my legendary chest crafts and I think I can already cover all my rogue's enchants for nothin' for tues.
If you need stuff enchanted feel free to hit me up. I will say there are cheap enchants and they are pretty cheap and solid, so if you don’t want to splurge on Eternal Crystals (which are expensive as hell atm) I’d recommend getting the cheaper one for stuff you will hopefully be replacing.
Yeah I changed it to an OnLoad call and that did the trick
I'm not convinced the GuildRoster call is actually doing anything, so I just commented that out and we'll see what happens
It's a pile of sound clips/references to go along with things like ready checks and other raid stuff. Guild officers/group leaders only so people who can be responsible with it can use it and not have everyone spam stuff just like my goofy ass used to do.
Man, I'm enjoying a lot of this expansions content, but Torghast has so far been awful as a rogue. All my runs over the last 3 days have been without a death, until the final boss, at which point I just get ground into the dirt. Yet to see the smoke bombs that I should buy to help this.
Edit: I did feel like an absolute idiot that I only noticed tonight that the little hologram you see on lvl 3 show what the boss will be, so at least I know when to leave now.

Also a fantastic place to farm raw seraphic wings for cooking.

3DS: 2981-5304-3227
(Leatherworking is also maxed, I can make Tier 2 legendary mail shoulders and tier 1 anything else, as is tailoring)
Get MilkGlass!
@Saeris I think I fixed that thing, they changed something about the way Frames get backgrounds, god knows why
Interesting. Here's the change to textures I was talking about, apparently from patch 8.2: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/ui-changes-in-rise-of-azshara/202487 (section "Texture Access") Looking at it again, I doubt it affects addons, so this is probably a separate issue.
Do you remember which lines you changed in the addon? Just out of curiosity.
edit: Ahh here it is. https://github.com/Stanzilla/WoWUIBugs/wiki/9.0.1-Consolidated-UI-Changes#backdrop-system-changes
edit2!: You might also need to start using the `C_GuildInfo` namespace instead of calling `GuildRoster`, `GetGuildRosterInfo`, etc. https://github.com/Stanzilla/WoWUIBugs/wiki/9.0.1-Consolidated-UI-Changes#820
I will probably have some extra food that isnt my stats on tues that I had to make to level it

it's a raid UI made by the elite guild Rambler Rilk

What isn't Milkglass?
i edited this video to not include me cackling wildly
Yeah.. how exactly did that happen?
