Yeah it would likely take an hour at most unless we don't get a lot of regulars.

It would probably be a good xmog if it was on a race that wasn't a goblin.

i paid for it by not opening anything cool but watching my friend (on video chat obviously) open the second rarest card in the entire set and immediately pay back his investment

    https://ptr.wowhead.com/news/patch-9-1-ptr-patch-notes-for-may-18th-mythic-keystone-exchange-new-great-vault-322427

tons of good shit but the important part is this

"Ta’hsup in the Hall of Holding in Oribos will now offer a Keystone to players who don’t have a Keystone, as long as they have completed at least 1 Shadowlands dungeon on Mythic+ difficulty.

Ta’hsup now spawns at the end of Mythic+ dungeons that are completed before the time limit is reached. He will offer a one-time Keystone exchange to any player whose current Keystone is at or below the level of the dungeon that was recently completed on time. Keystones that are a higher level than the dungeon that was recently completed on time cannot be traded, including the Keystone that was used to start the run."

Sorry I missed raid, I was falling asleep after a long damn day.

My dog had surgery, so I didn't get home until an hour or so before raid after work, picking him up, and then running to the store for a safety cone for him.

    I just needed to crash.

Aw, I hope your dog is doing alright. Don't worry about the raid, Dys. It only took us four attempts to beat Denny, with a raid full of rusty players. How long had it been since we all stepped in there last?

He's doing fine, it was just a little fatty lump on his chest that he was due to get removed. Provided the biopsy comes back negative (very likely) for it being malignant, everything's going to be totally fine.

Thinking back on how Illidan got to come back to life, be actually kind of a fun character and kill that irritating naaru and banter with Velen, then fuck off out of the plot with the titans before he wore out his welcome and avoided getting sucked into future bad shitty plot. What a lucky guy.

Illidan mercing that Naaru is the highlight of WoW storylines.

They needed that time to pivot from the big bad being the Jailer to it being Denny all along /naive

Well, that would be cool. As I said on Discord, Denny is a better villain than nipple man.

jokes aside they were definitely just catching up on work backlog because of covid disruptions and there's no way they have pivoted anything, if Denny is gonna be the big bad that was already in the plans.

I’m not particularly mad about the timeline, it has been nice disengaging from chores and doing other things with my life

Also, I’ve been listening to a LotR/Silmarillion podcast and it is occurring to me how much the Jailer reminds me of Melkor
I know, fantasy worlds cribbing from Tolkien, unprecedented!!

i've been playing BC classic and kinda enjoying it tbh?

except the part where, for like the 10th time in 16 years a group of friends choose a pvp server. again. and like all those times before, no positive experiences come from that.

launch week warmode is the best experience you can get your hands on and then you just flip that sucker off (unless you're me)

  • Options
    AdusAdus Registered User regular
i genuinely agree. war mode was a brilliant solution.

going back to old pvp server ways is annoying at best and literally a waste of my life at worst. the amount of times i've already had to deal with 'we can't summon, there's alliance camping the stone/instance entrance' already is infuriating. and because it's TBC it was before you were allowed to warlock summon into instances.

the other day I was bored and thought I'd go get the toy from the gnomeregon super boss, since we're 2 expansions past the content I thought it would be a breeze

folks, they did not touch the super boss when they did the stat squish

It was a very short, brutal fight

He has over 4 million HP and does over 40k HP per hit. I did not check exactly how much he was doing per hit, because he killed me in one hit.

There was a lot of content in legion that you didn't see at all unless you were specifically looking for it. It's not an encounter you'd just accidentally come across.
