Just rewatched Alien last weekend for the billionth time, and I loved little touches like his annoyed exasperation when Ripley is asking him questions in the lab.
I saw him in a hundred things growing up. but the one that really made an impression on me was From Hell.
Dumb fucking movie, but Ian Holm sold the hell out of it and took it from goofy slasher to grand guignol.
