I am confused about how we managed to create a time schism in Team Building Blocks and what the ramifications are for this...
I may be getting my wires crossed (no pun intended), but I believe we had someone unable to make their deadline, and enough people volunteered to fill that they could fill in the remaining relays twice over. So... separate timelines.
It was.... a combination of screwups, none of which were my fault.
they were all between 50% and 100% my fault

So, first I missed Ketar's entry. This was awkwardly compounded where I ask for 1 more captioner right at the end. If I had counted correctly I would have seen that we had perfect 3 team symmetry already. Upon finding this out, I knew I'd have to jam them into the process somehow, and figured I'd do an end-of-the-line alternate ending or something.
Then later i the process I was waiting for Mariisun to provide their art. The forum showed they hadn't been online for over a week preceding my message, and I hadn't had a response for a day and a half. Where usually I send a "hey are you gonna do this or not?" message, I made a snap decision to just skip them and move to the next artist in line (I've been burned before by people wanting in and then just ghosting before) and went to sleep. Overnight, I then got Mariisun's entry.
Well, well... I knew I needed a timeline split somehow and this seemed like the best way to do it. But alas, this meant to maintain symmetry between Caption and Draw I needed 2 more Draws. Thankfully, Bel and ND stepped in here and were assigned random teams. Thus, when the final post is created the Building Blocks team will have the same base stem, but then the timeline will branch out in 2 different directions. We'll get to see not only how corrupt the vision is from my original caption, but we'll also see how corrupt the message gets when passed between just a few people.
Ow my innocence!
Next year, let's do an EPYC pyramid. Surely that won't be a ludicrous amount of work.
My bad idea is becoming a larger bad idea. As to whether or not this makes the bad idea worse is unknown. Infinity multiplied by any value is probably the same as before.
We'll get back there someday.

Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.

It looks like my talents might be required today.
Given it's still 7am, should I start drinking now, or should I sunder the timeline and start drinking yesterday?
The image I received was actually a coherent, solid piece of art. It was a self-contained thing. There wasn't any absurdity to it. Which, hey great art, didn't leave much captioning inspiration.

Searching for drivers, mostly
The wacom graphire 4 drivers on wacom's site don't work with windows 10, but there's a version of the EU wacom driver for the bamboo that was released as a beta for windows 8 that does work with win 10 and the graphire 4. Unfortunately, this driver no longer exists on wacom's site or their EU ftp, and the only place I was able to find it was from a goddamn megaupload link I found on some random forum.

i JUST NOW saw that NightDragon was slotted in right before me, so i have to caption an incredible artist (and who is putting in real actual effort), and also come up with something worthy of someone who i have immense respect and fear for. and it's the one with a horse!
Every entry deserves your best, especially the shitty ones so you can save the thread.

If you can’t caption me at my worst, you don’t deserve to draw me at my best.
I had Robert Khoo once in secret santa.
I mean the dude probably doesn't even play tabletennis anymore but he was was frigging stoked about my gift.
I got him a bunch of videotapes by some ping-pong GM and a team management book for motivating his teammates.
also a whip for extra motivation.
