All for $90, which I think is the retail price? I'm pretty sure all of these offer no-money-down, cancel-any-time pre-orders (BBTS and TCP do for sure, I think ToyDojo does as well, and I think TFSource does it only if you use their "order stacking" option). I've shopped a ton at all of these places, and can vouch for all of them (to be fair, TFSource has a questionable reputation regarding jacking up the price on hard-to-get 3P items, and BBTS frequently gets stock in waaay after other online retailers). All but ToyDojo also allow order stacking, so you can let them hold on to your items until you're ready to ship; useful because all but BBTS also do free shipping on orders $150 or more, so you can let your Motormaster sit there until you've accrued $60 more in additional purchases, and then ship it all for free.
More like I can't afford to get him now, and by the time I'm able it'll be similar to what's going on with Slag right now: out of stock in most places and the ones that do have him are at around a 50% premium.
Eh, its more a me problem. Honestly I'm just having trouble justifying him at $90 MSRP to begin with.
If you don't think he's worth $90, then that is absolutely a good reason not to buy him.
If you think you might want him, and might be able to scrape together the money for him, place a pre-order at one of the places I linked to. It won't be out of stock or marked up for you, then. Cancel it a few months down the line if you change your mind.

This is a totally fair consideration. When Motormaster is hitting $90 and the entire set is going to run the same price as a Titan, it made me decide to cancel my preorders. I can get quality third parties for the prices Hasbro is asking for.

If you haven't grabbed those third party toys yet, you may want to get on that asap. The same market factors that are pushing Hasbro to raise their prices are going to hit third party as well.

Yeah, I try to not think of the price of Motormaster when I want it. My thought is that these might be the last ones I do want on the shelf since my collection is at the thinning stage.
I suspect that has less to do withe costs and more to do with shelf warming.
Has Rodimus ever been popular?
I can't imagine the Stunticon's will shelf warm.
Well... The Combiner Wars Motormaster shelf warmed so much that he even warmed shelves at Ross/Marshall's/etc.
Although those were different times and a completely different set. But one can hope?
Edit: I doubt this set will warm shelves. Hasbro seems to make less of each bot these days so maybe he won't shelf warm this time around. Plus I think the other one had issues?
I mean, they did two waves of CW Motormaster too, so it was no wonder he ended up shelfwarming.
EDIT: From what I remember (and confirmed on TFWiki), Motormaster was a redeco of Optimus. They released a new version of Optimus in a later wave, and did another run of Motormaster at the same time (coincidentally, the new version included fixes to issues with the hips).
So within like a couple hours of my Origin Bumblebee shipping out, I was informed that the wrong item was shipped to me and I'll need to ship it back, but he'll refund me the cost of shipping.
Not the end of the world, but kind of a hassle, and feels offenough to be a scam. Ebay will register that I received the item, I'll ship it back, maybe get refunded on the shipping and then it feels like I'll be out $20, and everything will look kosher according to eBay.

Yikes... Hopefully they don't scam you. Make sure you put the tracking info into an eBay conversation. Or all of this is through eBay. Since he was honest I have hope that he won't screw you.
Either way, I do have an Origins Bumblebee still in box if you want it for cost and shipping.

The Stunticon limbs have been selling out on Hasbro Pulse
You can of course still buy them elsewhere, but the fact a general release sold out on Hasbro’s site tells me these won’t shelfwarm, so I doubt any discounts

Speaking of Hasbro, they just put up a new wave of GI Joe Classified figures. Three are Target exclusive, so hop on those for anyone who is interested
Sure, if it was just that sculpture.
But it includes, not one, not two, but three unique moogles.
It'd be a bargain at twice the price.

I am not a fan of the Bayformers movies, but I have to admit that when they actually care about things, they can make cool models.
As such, Blackout's always been a favorite of mine. It's why I picked up the Studio Series one, despite the crappy hands - and then bought 3rd party hand add-ons to fix that.
Well, now that I know a Masterpiece is coming of Blackout, I'm... well, you know me, I'm considering it. Mostly because it looks amazing in vehicle mode.
Given that the price of my type of collectable ranges from $400-$1000 (and sometimes more), whenever someone posts "wow, this price tho" my brain is always like, "Oh YEAH? Well we'll SEE about that." This is one of the rare occasions where the price really did make me do a double-take.
Arcadia posted on Twitter that the YF-19 is in production ad scheduled to release in May. They also say might be delayed till June, but will keep posting updates (or something like that ).
I usually rely on others to read Twitter stuff. Hopefully one day companies will one day use their own websites or emails to announce things rather than use social media.

They also use their own websites. But how often do you check a companies website unless it is their main interface? When was the last time you went to ge.com or whatever.

I am weird and tend to visit company websites. Sadly they usually bury their news in odd places. Heck even the place I work at tends to update their Twitter feed more than the website.
Edit: Actually it was quite funny that I was on a company website and was annoyed that I couldn't sign up for a newsletter to get updates on their new products.
Edit #2: Was just surfing that site again and found a link to their newsletter. See, the power of the Internet comes through again.
Macross Plus will always be a special show for me.
Right time, right place as I was getting deeper into anime. The first VHS cassettes and OST's I bought for myself, and the 21 was my favorite of the two competing designs.
Makes me sad it is so unlikely to ever be released again.
If you are reading this add me.

It always bothered me there’s no YF-20
I know that’s probably realistic to how military models can work, but still, as an ignorant teen, I saw two rad jet bots designated 19 and 21, I wanted to see what existed between!

A third manufacturer's design that failed spectacularly early in the testing phase.

Maybe they'll backfill the YF-20 in the future like how they backfilled between the X-31 and X-36.

You should fix that. Series is great.
I saw that Swordfish II the last time I was in Japan and I kind of regret not bringing it home with me.

Luckily I have it in Blu-ray to fix that.

Yeah those were the days. Didn't they used to cost around $15 or something like that back in the Combiner Wars days?

And these toys were bigger, more solid and had numerous play gimmicks.

It doesn't even have articulation! What's the sculpture made of, solid gold??
The last one, as I understand it, so especially valuable.

Still, I scrolled through Arcadia's twitter to see if there was any chance at the YF-21, but sadly it appears not at this time.
You probably have a better chance hoping for the Bandai's DX YF-21 they showed off a few years ago.
