So Blaire and Poppy had a fight and to make for it, Blaire gave Poppy some extremely ugly clothes. So I went to Isabelle to complain, because I don't appreciate my villagers walking around in such an eyesore outfit.
But... it didn't work. Poppy still sometimes wears that hideous, filthy, patched-up thing. I guess Isabelle only lets you delete custom clothing designs?
So I guess Poppy's gotta leave, because I'm not having that sartorial nightmare haunt my island. Also, I will never again deliver packages from villagers to other villagers.

Boy, the forums being broken on my phone for some reason is really putting a crimp in my Animal Crossing social life. Maybe I'll hang out in the discord more.
I miss the old Easter egg where you could bang on the outside of the Nook Shop with your net to wake up Tom and go in after hours. Tom in his PJ's was hilarious to me.
She does have a point about the lame animals as in New leaf they were fun
I don't recall them being that interesting in Wild World. I played the gamecube game for a full year and absolutely loved it. The snooty animals were unbearable. Great joy was had hitting them with nets, sending them threatening letters, and dumping trash in their yards.
My girlfriend (now wife) had a DS, so I got her Wild World and the magic wasn't as strong. All I can remember about it was it introduced the slingshot.
Fast forward to this game. Gulliver is better, but she is 100% correct that the villagers are unbelievably boring. The snooty ones aren't bad at all. They are less annoying than the jocks. I don't really dislike anyone. When someone wants to leave I really don't care either way.
My biggest disagreement with the video is on the amount of stuff to do. Yes you can spend countless hours reorganizing your island if you choose to do so. If you don't, it is the same amount of game. In some ways it is worse. When I look for my daily visitor and see Kicks, Label, or Leif, I will likely water my plants, check turnip prices, and save. The old game didn't have Flick, but CJ, Whisp, Gulliver, Sahara, and Redd were basically the same. I kind of miss the faceless cat that would ask you to draw one for her.
I was actually thinking about buying New Leaf once I get back home (and still playing New Horizons). My first AC game was Pocket Camp, and I think it would be fun to go back and play some of the other games. We still have a 3DS, so why not?
Since a lot of you seem to have played the other games, I figured I'd ask about it. Would it be fun to play ACNL alone? I assume that since ACNH is out, that there aren't many people regularly playing ACNL anymore. Would I have trouble acquiring items if I don't have anyone to play online with (like people who play NH without internet services)?
The last two times I have had Redd he has had all fake paintings.

When the guys throw you a surprise Birthday Party with some kind of refined gentleman’s club dress code, and you turn up in a wetsuit stuffed with sea slugs because last night you quit yet another failed hunt for the fictional vampire squid mid-swim.
They had to send my cupcakes in the post after the event because my soggy pockets were too full of wriggling sea life.

I played most of New Leaf during my work commute and I had a good time with it. Getting a catalog built up would be harder but the core game play is still there.
