Chromebook for School

Two of my kids are needing Chromebooks for school. One is in elementary and the other is starting junior high. Any recommendations on something that would work out for them without being overpriced?

Quick google search shows Lenovo and Acer both have chromebooks in the $250 range. Edit- also Dell and HP

Were you wanting them to be able to play any games or just school stuff?

Get something with a touch screen, a 1080p screen, and at least 4GB of ram. If it has all 3 of those things it'll be a good experience.

Do not compromise on the ram. If you find a good deal but it only has 2GB of ram, do not buy it. I personally wouldn't compromise on the 1080p screen, but if a 1366x768 display is all you can afford, it'll still be fine, just a more cramped experience. A touchscreen is not a must, but also a very good quality of life thing, especially if you want to use android apps..
