Holy shit, it just registered for me that there aren't actually any fans in that stadium

They really piped in boos for Wentz as the home team, lmao

They’re obviously going to be fine but the fact that this game requires late game heroics is fucking terrible for the chiefs

Chargers defense has always been real good, especially against the Chiefs, and not having a QB who loves to make back-breaking turnovers is huge.

    Wait

    Herbert isn’t a fan of back-breaking turnovers?

    I mean...because he’s a fan of back-breaking wide-ass, no-chance-for-anybody incompletes instead?

For anybody impressed by Herbert today, he was less accurate in college than Hackenberg

I mean, I’m a UCLA fan. I’ve watched a lot of Herbert. Dude is nowhere near worse than Hackenberg.

Fair enough, I did not realize Herbs actually had a 64% completion rate in his college career vs Hack’s 56%

Butker kicks good. He kicks real good.

Only took 3 straight kicks from 50+ for one to finally count and get the W. All 3 of them would've been good from 60.

    Buttkicker.com indeed.

That was a nasty hit. I don't think it was headhunting, and it looked like at least he thought he was trying to lead with the shoulder, but it ended up being a nasty hit and I'm really glad they came down so hard because that needs to be reigned in

I wonder how much money Subway had to offer Belichick to get him in an ad spot.

Or maybe they just offered to make all those inconvenient bones disappear, no questions asked.

Seattle has just been shitting on us this whole quarter, yeesh.

To be fair, that's partially a tools thing - Wilson started on the team when it had a nutterbutters running corps, now they have a stronger groups of receivers.

I really hate when teams essentially give up on 3rd down and run a screen or draw play.

But could you imagine the meltdown Carroll would have had if they'd run a pass and scored there?

Great game last night. I think Seattle was the better team throughout, though, and I'm really, really excited for the rest of this year. Russ looks like he's on a mission.

The lack of a pass rush is going to be a big problem though.

I think both teams overall looked pretty good (although Pats' defense is clearly weaker this year), but the Seahawks look poised to go on an absolute rampage this year.

Courtland Sutton out for the year with a torn acl. Parris Campbell out "indefinitely" with a pcl injury.

This weekend was terrible for knees and ankles.

At one point last night, Russ had more touchdowns on the year (8) than he did incompletions (7).

    Fun.
