I can't tell what the source of your rage is, but I give it even odds that the paper linked is actually beneficial. The concept of race norming for cognitive tests logically creates a lot of intense anger at the very real potential of racism. The problem is that the tests people are trying to correct are often racist themselves which causes problems. This is highlighted best by IQ tests that have long been known to have racial/cultural bias in them which heavily taints the results. I don't know enough about the neurocognitive testing specifically referenced here to know if that is what is happening though.

The NFL was absolutely doing it in as racist and shitty way as possible though. I have absolutely no doubt they were intentionally causing harm with it. The above is just for general background knowledge of psychological testing and about one of the many ways it can often be horse shit.

The rage was at the fact that the NFL was of course using an arguably legitimate concept to diminish black people in order to pay less to players who were legitimately suffering.

I do actually know what a white paper is and I understand the scientific basis if what they're talking about. It was just low-hanging fruit.

Not that we needed another example of this, but here is another case proving the rich are both dumb and have enough money to burn it for warmth. Almost every year now a new league is announced that anyone with a luck of sense knows will be bouncing checks before its season reaches conclusion.

The only way a new football league works is if the NFL endorses/partners with it to use as a farm system.

Honestly, all I care is whoever gets the Showboats franchise (Memphis should be offered the first chance, imo) they start off all of their halftime shows with the Spongebob "Bubble Bowl" clip.

The Bandits would appreciate it, too.

It’s not just that it’s that he’s guaranteed 15 mil this year and 19 the next two years and has also been open about wanting a new contract/extension. So the titans are paying quite a bit it’s just actual money not assets and such.

A second rounder for a 32 year old receiver who wants out is fairly respectable since the intersecting lines of heartache, salary and good years left in his future were going to see you letting him go sooner rather then later.

I think I'm the end it's just another reason the Falcons should be looking to blow it all up and rebuild rather then try and play second fiddle to Tampa for the next two or three years.

With Brees gone I see second fiddle as up for grabs and not settled is all. The point is that this is a very good time to try to rebuild and get young for them because Carolina and New Orleans both have no real starting quarterback and Tampa Bays music is going to stop just in time for someone else to jump forward and dominate the division for five years if they find a good coach/QB combo.

It's 15 and then 11 for the next two years according to spotrac. Even if he sits that final year a 2 year rental for a 2 is a fantastic bet.

It's the NFC South, no one is allowed to finish first in consecutive years. It's the law

That's normal for the NFL though. Sharing the burden of a bad contract situation is more an NBA thing.

If the Packers Fan faithful ,aka, " I'm a Stakeholder , so fuck you Player on Green Bay for being, "Uppity", had any smarts, they would've traded Rodgers to the Niners and just pick Trey Lance, since he's from the good, and proper , Blue collar, fuck your smarts, roll up your sleeves like Brett Favor and the late, "Minister of Defense", Reggie White, Midwest anyway, then the Packers would've been clear of this shit storm they had helped caused.

I know Aaron gets a lot of, "He's too damn smarmy smart for his own good. Brett worked hard, very hard!" Blah blah. Aaron is from California, highly educated, so that rubs alot of Midwestern people the wrong way.

How do I Know this? I'm originally born and raised from Indiana. No matter what your race, gender is, you show any signs of intelligence, the disdane for you is pappable.

You all Packers fans have my upmost permission, to clearly blame the Ford and McCaskey families, for giving the Packers Brass, NFC management incompetence brain poison, ever since the passing of GM Ted Thompson.

It's like the entire NFC North, still thinks, it's 1948.

Jim Fassell died of a heart attack last night.

He wasn’t the best head coach the Giants ever had but he did alright during his tenure.

Got to the Super Bowl in 2001 where we got to be the NFC team sacrificed to Ray Lewis’ Ravens team.
