I mean, if I was an nfl coach and I had a player risking missing games because of a covid quarantine I would break my foot off in his ass
There are very few NFL coaches who don’t agree with him though and I don’t see even Andy or Arians or Stefanski unofficially disciplining a dude over it (I’m assuming these are 3 of the least chuddy coaches)
Pre vaccine everyone in theory was playing under the same chances that they could get waylaid by COVID.
This year there may be a much greater chance of it effecting teams with a higher degree of shit heads only and unlike most other pro sports the odds of a single loss effecting entry into the post season are much much higher.

Still think his career is gonna get railroaded by this current Commish and his employers (NFL owners.).
Next NFL Commissioner, then it will be safe to come out. But for now, it's a huge risk career wise. Kudos for Nassib for coming out, but like an earlier poster noted, the last NFL player to come out, was blacklisted by the then St. Louis Rams after getting drafted, being a former NCAA player for "University of Missouri" no less.
And I don't want to hear that, "He ain't a real, manly man." Anti gay drivel. I'm hetro, and there always have been Plenty of Gay people who kicked the shit out of straight people since the dawn of humans. So the Twitter sphere MAGA fucks can fuck off with the anti, homophobic, " Only Manly men survive football!" Stick. Good on Nassib and hope the Vegas Raiders support him.

Apparently, this is Clark's second arrest this year
Wtf
He needs to be shitcanned yesterday. Dude is a walking alpha male stereotype come to life and I've been wanting the Chiefs to cut him and Tyreke Hill for a couple of years now.
Ah, a wonderful student athlete exemplar of a Dallas douchebag...you hate to see it.
Wonder what his price was for becoming a Mustang was? Dickerson set the standard at a custom gold Firebird and a house for his grandma. Course their most recent coaches have sucked ass and definitely didn't have the NFL contacts, stroke, and effectively unlimited amount of booster cash and favors that Ron Meyer did during the Pony Express.

Just don't have uzis or guns, it's literally that easy. Just don't have them.
You make Milllionnnns of dollars just don't get arrested merely for having illegal guns on you. Then retire and you can own a million guns! Go to the shooting range! Shoot lots of bullets!

SMU's football program was literally killed for two years after that shit. They were suspended from competition for all of 1987 and their limitations on recruitment, staff, and scholarships left them unable to field a team in 1988. Beasley's sophomore year (2009) had their first bowl appearance since then.

Oh, I'm aware they're the only school/team to ever get the "Death penalty" by the NCAA. But it's still a well-known school in Texas, so I'm sure they have better accountants now covering their tracks. A friend's wife is a tenured member of the English department, the shopping trips to the boutique stores and auto dealerships in Dallas are definitely back to being a thing, just more on the downlow than during the Pony Express era.

Not sure, but this story has informed me that Lamborghini now makes SUVs and they start at $220k.
I miss the good old days of Chiefs players being dumb, but not thugish. Like the time Dwayne Bowe was pulled over in Riverside, MO and charged with DUI cause he'd just returned from a trip to Colorado and was high as a kite and asked the arresting officer if Sonic was still open so he could grab a bite.

Defector has an interesting article featuring 6 anonymous players that they interviewed about COVID protocols and the vaccine.
It seems some of them (like player 1) are just meatheads that can be salvageable while others (see player 6) are dumb assholes that are beyond redemption. Highlights:
Player 1, the player fighting for a roster spot who was undecided about the vaccine, said that he hadn’t considered how it might affect his job prospects. “Hell no, I feel like me being available for every game is just making sure I am handling my business,” he said. “It ain’t got nothing to do with the vaccination.”
I reminded him that he tested positive for COVID last season, and he was probably handling his business then.
“I mean well, yeah, I mean, maybe you do have a point there. Now that you say that, that would make sense. That is a competitive advantage. You could be good one week and then if you test positive [or someone near you does], you’re out for another whole week.”
Player 1 was undecided on June 9, when we first spoke. When I checked in on him a week and a half later, he sent me a text message, ending with the sweating/smile emoji, to say he had gotten the Johnson & Johnson vaccine last week, on the final day of mini-camp.
Player 6: Yeah, the vaccine and the people who receive it, the death rate goes down tremendously, but anything that you get from [COVID], you are not going to die. You may have some symptoms but it is not going to be worse than what you had before. It’s not going to kill you. I am not saying [COVID] is not real. It is there. It is definitely man-made, it was cooked up. The Lysol bottle, it has “corona” on it, if you see the back of it. So this is like killing [the coronavirus], to spray it. So it’s been here before. It’s just more potent this time around and now they have made a vaccine for it that actually cures that type of symptoms where it is harder to get it. I am not saying [COVID] is not there. It’s just the part of who all put into it to get it going. You see the people who have benefitted from [COVID], it ain’t rocket science. So, I am not saying that, but at the same time I am not trying to be a person that the wool is pulled over my eyes.
Nassib did a ton of charity work during his time at PSU as well. Super proud and happy for him, and in terms of a "first" figure, probably couldn't ask for a better dude. From everything I've heard of him, guy is about as likely to get milkshake ducked as Mr. Rogers.
Chubb is better per carry but hasn’t had the sustained reliability like Henry
Yeah Chubb is in a split backfield and is coming up with durability issues. He’d be in the conversation if it weren’t for him seeming human while Henry plays like a machine.
Henry just had a 2,000 yard season behind a 3rd string LT, a backup level RT, and banged up interior line. Not a single lineman from the Titans made the pro bowl, which speaks to how Henry was pretty much just doing it himself.
Chubb is at least a decent receiver out of the backfield though. Henry’s got hands of stone

Yeah another way I was struggling to say but thinking earlier is that Henry makes the game way easier for his team than any other non-QB in the league does for their team
Winstons work ethic wasn’t the problem it was his decision making skills that cause everything to go to hell .
I mean, he’s deciding to spend his finite time and energy on stupid drills to help him not be a Jameis on the field but all he’s doing is practicing being a Jameis

Frank don't sleep on the fact Chiefs can cut you for this and get anyone else willing to step up on defense in your absence.

Could be bullshit, but I have no idea!
If that's the case, his cap number is 25m.
I believe it has to be stated as such in a contract, it isn’t a universal thing.

….but then get on social media and read the meme and conspiracy shit and turn into Cole Beasley
Fucking player 6 is definitely a MAGA chud. Holy shit.
Better then Henry ? That’s a… bold statement.
Not taking anything from Henry either, he's a badass
Just you wait!!!

Hey man the 40/40 club won’t found itself.
You know what every other QB practices instead of that? Their playbook, so they know their outlet.
Or throw it away, or scramble, or take the sack instead of try to out-Heracles dudes who look like this:
