Alabama is going to win this game, but because they refuse to play well, they'll be without their safety for the first half of the Georgia game.
.....is Georgia going to be favored in that thing?

Alabama didn’t prevent a whole lot of yards either
yeah I really don't feel great about this season at this point. Writing off the Georgia game as the first time Saban loses to a previous coach. The defense is just not.........good. It's a shame that this insane offense is wasted on a team with no defense to speak of.

Part of what is making the offense so explosive is that defenses are bad across the board due to COVID

Oh my God

Jeremy Pruitt looks like a caterpillar about to tuck into a checkerboard cocoon. When he comes out, he’ll be a beautiful pontoon boat. This is the dream of all people who live in Tennessee for more than three weeks, and we should be proud he’s about to make it happen.
Jeremy Pruitt looks like the loneliest dude at Burning Man. Jeremy Pruitt looks like an undercover cop pulling up to a snowboarding halfpipe asking where he can get some “chronic.” Jeremy Pruitt looks like he’s about to rob the Mapco in honor of General Neyland. Jeremy Pruitt looks bad, and I think it’s funny, because it is, and things are bad right now, and all we can do is laugh about it.

Jeremy Pruitt looks incredible here. I will hear no other opinions.

He maybe shouldn't have shaken kiffin's gat damn hand and a bunch of other bullshit that made him more exposed than necessary!
And hey, maybe stop having fans at the game! Literally nobody was distancing or wearing a mask!
Nope! We gotta fill the Swamp! Pay no attention to the fact that we had to postpone our game because 30 players got COVID!
Yes I know this is Florida and not Alabama but the point still counts.

SE++ PICK'EMS WEEK YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE IT BUT WE HAD TO DELAY DUE TO MORE COVID POSTPONEMENTS
Straight Up
#15 Auburn (-3.5) @ South Carolina - I am fascinated to see how the SEC tries to justify this week's bullshit that allows Auburn to sneak out a victory. They should just turn it into a running joke (and like all running jokes, it will probably get mercilessly killed by a Crimson Tide).
Kentucky @ #18 Tennessee (-6) - Maybe in a normal year, I care a small amount about this game, but ehhhhhhhh. Tennessee was actually beating Georgia at the half before the Bulldogs plugged their controllers in and started playing, and Kentucky became the latest chapter in the Mike Leach Experience at Mississippi State, so I guess there's intrigue here?
Central Florida (-3) @ Memphis - The shine really came off this game once October hit, as UCF and Memphis both suffered losses in ugly games. I guess one of these teams will try to salvage their season, but really at this point the AAC is resting their minuscule playoff hopes on Cincinnati and *checks notes*.....SMU. So congrats to Alabama on claiming the 4th playoff spot again!
Against the Spread
Pittsburgh @ #13 Miami (-13.5) - While this feels like a perfect time for the Pitt Superweapon to fire, I would just like to point out their game next week and leave it at that.
Marshall (-13.5) @ Louisiana Tech - Surprisingly, this game has big Conference USA implications, as both Marshall and Louisiana Tech are undefeated in conference play so far. Louisiana Tech could really use this game more; Marshall has a game in hand on an FAU team they still have to play, while Lousiana Tech don't have the same margin for error in a division with UAB lurking. Really didn't expect that the biggest piece of analysis I'd do tonight was for a Conference USA game, but here we are.
Boston College @ #23 Virginia Tech (-12) - New game: let's see how long an average Virginia Tech team can stick around in the rankings now that the Big Ten and Pac-12 are on the verge of coming back!
GAME OF THE CENTURY OF THE WEEK (Straight up)
#3 Georgia @ #2 Alabama (-4.5) - Steve Sarkesian is going to be in charge of this game, and as a quick reminder the last time he was a head coach he was fired for showing up drunk to a donor event (and also for being a bad coach). The good news this time is that, thanks to the nightmare hellscape that is the COVID-19 pandemic, Sark doesn't really have to worry about donor events! The bad news is he will be publicly executed by the Alabama faithful should he lose this game, while Nick Saban gets to continue his streak of not losing to his former assistant coaches. He's a genius.

Arkansas St. versus Georgia St. was pretty ridiculous to watch. I only saw the first half before work, but that ended 28-28, with the final score being 57-52.
After last weeks showing against ole miss I really don’t think anyone is going to be mad about losing to Georgia, especially with saban unable to participate.

Louisville's coach understands that in college you take the first timeout after the first down play, not after they gain the first down. Like nobody gets this. Kudos!
They're still doomed because their offense blows and ND is probably going to get this first down anyway, but still.

Probably should be. Their defense is the best unit I've seen this year.
They literally had no other option, they were down by 8 with less than 2 minutes left.
3DS: 2981-5304-3227
No obviously they had to onside kick. But they did the exact same one so Alabama was expecting where it would go.
Holy shit!!
Our winner this week is @CSStheGr8 ! Congratulations!
