This crew has lost track of the ball during the play multiple times now.
It’s not just the cameras it’s the people operating them.

you definitely notice when you're watching a game that has the B (or C, or evidently D) list crew working it, both in terms of the number of angles and the quality of the actual camerawork
this oregon game did seem particularly bad though
it was the smallest on the list but
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
1. 0 or 1 loss SEC Champion
2. 1 loss Big 10 Champion
3. 1 loss Oregon
4. Non-SEC champion Georgia
5. Undefeated Cincinnati
6. 1 loss non-Big Ten champion Michigan
7. 1 loss Notre Dame
8. 1 loss Big 12 Champion
9. 2 loss SEC champion
10. 2 loss Big Ten Champion
11. 2 loss non-SEC champion Alabama
12. 12-1 Wake Forest
More realistically: Functionally clinched
1. Georgia's basically in unless they absolutely biff a game against Charleston Southern or a bad Georgia Tech team.
Control their own destiny
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. Ohio State
5. Michigan State
A little help
6. Cincinnati needs Georgia to beat Alabama
7. Michigan needs Michigan State to lose to either OSU or PSU
Lots of help
8. Notre Dame needs Georgia to beat Alabama, Oregon to lose, and for Michigan to not be an 11-1 Big Ten East runner up (which is to say, they need an MSU loss or a Michigan loss)
9/10. The Bedlam winner needs a damned miracle (Georgia wins the SEC, like MSU > OSU, PSU > MSU, OSU > Michigan or for Wisconsin to win the Big Ten, an Oregon loss, a Notre Dame loss)
Peak 2007
11. Wake Forest (I don't even know)
If I had a Heisman Ballot
1. Aidan Hutchinson, DE Michigan
2. Kenneth Walker III, RB Michigan State
3. Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE Oregon
Considered: Will Anderson, DE Alabama; Bryce Young, QB Alabama; Jackson Smith-Njigba, WR Ohio State; Treyveon Henderson, RB Ohio State
Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.
All those defenders on your Heisman list are all considerably better and more irreplaceable on their teams than all the offensive guys save Walker
Voters (and bettors) haven’t adjusted to passing stat inflation yet
Stroud, lol….his receivers all average like 2+ yards of space to their closest defenders, the biggest cushion by far in CFB and I’m not convinced he isn’t just a version of Dwayne Haskins with slightly less arm but better feet/mechanics (this is based on him having the third best odds per Vegas)

Oh my God
Kansas has the same number of wins over Texas since 2016 (2) as it does against every other Big 12 team combined.
...
Kansas was a 31-point underdog in this game. Since the FBS/FCS split in 1978, the Jayhawks were 0-100 in games when the opponent was favored by at least 24.

As someone who fits in the tiny Venn diagram sliver that includes fans of the Philadelphia Eagles AND UW Huskies, reading that Chip Kelly and Doug Pederson are both potential options for the Washington job is going to turn me into The Joker (tm)

I for one think Chip Kelly is an excellent candidate for the Washington job and no I don't have any ulterior motives here what are you talking about?

It astounds me that there are coaches out there who don’t realize their job is to wine and dine high school coaches to deputize them as recruiters that aren’t held to NCAA rules

Nick Saban - who at this point is inarguably the GOAT - was famously quoted as saying he's a mediocre coach, but nobody would beat him on the recruiting trail.

So I was just looking at Alabama's resume and... what's their second best win? Stomping Mississippi into the ground in undeniably impressive but the second best team they beat is what, Tennessee? Maybe Miss State?

But they have that quality loss to the team that beat Alabama.
As a reminder, next week will be our annual Rivalry Week Blowout, which will include two games Thanksgiving night and several games on Friday. We will endeavor to post next week's games as early as possible.

Certain teams get future games baked into their resume- everyone assumes a win vs frisky Arkansas and in the Iron Bowl as part of their analysis of Bama (and OSU with their last stretch vs the ranked B1GE teams). Would be the same for Georgia, too, if they had any actual opponents between now and the SECCG (in a hypothetical different season where they had a “whoops” loss).
I lost 3 points due to 1.5 points spread across 3 games. That is an impressive slate of games to pick from when it is that close that often. It also really fucking sucked to be on the bad end of the half point every time.

We've already played both of our rivalry games this year, but on Black Friday we will be facing a team that's either playing for bowl eligibility or trying to prevent a 7 game losing streak. If we win against Baylor this weekend we might just be playing for another round of 'We own Texas' t-shirts and possibly for a 3rd head coach's job this season.

Wooooo! Best week so far and joining the ranks of pickers with multiple winning weeks!
No real change this week. Committee hates Oklahoma still, dropped to 13th. (Totally fair)
1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. Ohio State
5. Cincinnati
6. Michigan
7. Michigan State
8. Notre Dame
9. Oklahoma State
10. Wake Forest (!?)
11. Baylor
12. Mississippi
13. Oklahoma
14. BYU
15. Wisconsin (creeping towards being a quality win for Ohio State in conference championship week)

I think OSU is pretty vulnerable to both Michigan teams (MSU could score 50 on OSUs terrible pass defense and Michigan’s d-line might freak Stroud out enough to wreck the offensive machine), I think they have less than a 50% chance of winning both

Honest question: have you watched Michigan State's secondary? Jim Harbaugh Michigan threw for 400. Adjust for Stroud and OSU's WR and that's like 750.

Only 3 teams have ever scored 48+ at Texas and 2 of them are the last 2 times Kansas rolled into Austin
Yeah they’re “rebuilding” but I don’t think they’ve made much progress here since 2018…

But they have that quality loss to the team that beat Alabama.
