As far as I know, the closest thing is that Sony have said they want to do more PC releases.

If Demon's Souls (a PS3 exclusive) gets a PC release then we can hope for Bloodborne to get the same sometime after PS6 comes around.

I think if the shortcut works in the original game you will get another path to cathedral ward after killing the cleric beast instead of the one that is blocked by Gascoin

the original intention was two ways into cathedral ward; gilbert (the npc by the first lamp in central yharnam) directs you first to the great bridge, and if you go back and talk to him after killing cleric beast and saying that path was sealed he then says to try the aqueducts (which leads to Gascoigne)

I'd guess the tomb you're able to enter from the catacombs to go visit Nito to join the covenant? It has a cutscene associated with it
