I don't want Trump to die I just don't care if he dies. Because he's an asshole and because he has done everything in how power to bring it upon himself. Same goes for most of the leadership that will also catch it in this outbreak. I do feel bad for all the government employees he's exposed and their families though.
I'm not gonna hold any politician in a negative light for "wishing Trump well" because it's a meaningless platitude. Biden temporarily pulling negative ads might be smart or not. Amy McGrath's ads are incredibly stupid and, frankly, I wish if we were going to do pointless shots at senior Republicans in super R-districts we did the GOP thing and just put somebody on the far end of the party out there to get those views heard.
Biden pulling negative ads seems fine. It's free positive coverage and since it pre-empts "Biden is ghoulishly taunting our glorious leader as he recovers" it might actually hurt any rally round the flag effect. But also punditry is stupid and I'll do 10 pushups as penance for even thinking in this sort of way for a post.
