Yeah S2M1 for sure because you get an extra charge.
Ifrit is usually S2M3, I think. That's what I went for anyway.
Yeah, her S3 does have a use, but she's usually deployed in S2 because defense shred. I killed Patriot using her S3 overlapped with Eyja S3M3. Fuck resists mode.

i haven't mastery'd Eyja's s3 at all, it has literally never been necessary for me (granted, I have full roster privilege) - it might be the best aoe burst tool but there are at least 2 other operators who can do something similar
what nobody else has been able to do, however, is offer an alternative to her s2m3 huge, constantly available single/aoe target arts dps
There's a reason AoE casters are mostly ignored, and she has adorable little horns.
Ifrit gets used because of her unique AoE and her debuffing. Mostima gets used for her crowd control. And... that's about it? A lot of the AoE casters could do with a cost reduction at the lower rarities, because Eyja eats their lunch with how cheap she is by comparison. (Oh, you need two AoE casters? How about Angelina S3M3?)
In the past, everything that was done with Eyja S3 I've done with Silverash S3M3 or, once I built her, Angelina S3M3.
Though she is probably worth all those mastery levels, I always ran her with S2 when the guides said S3 anyways *shrug
EDIT: also, I see now that Spot, Catapult, and Popukar fill up all those former easy 4* recruits

I M6d Eyja, it matters a lot for harder content where you redeploy her multiple times to get the timing windows to be much more generous for how fast her second Volcano comes back up, nevermind the huge damage increase. Otherwise just having her on S2 for general usage is very nice.

Wait for Dusk, she's pretty legit. Like, I think Mostima is hard underrated (as someone who likes to deploy arts stall comps) but Dusk is memed as 'the savior of AoE casters' for a reason.
Also for Ifrit and Eyja what are my Mastery goals?
You honestly can't go wrong with Blaze though. Blaze + Saria can duo just... so many maps. Then you add in a Thorns or something if you have to and laugh.
i'm tempted to go for suzuran for a more general purpose slowing operator besides angelina but i'm mad at myself for not buying the skin that just went away so i probably won't.
besides that the only operator i'd probably want is phantom, and idk for fast redeploy i don't know if it's worth it over just gravel's general extreme usefulness and cheap cost.

Get Phantom. I'm getting Phantom unless brain rot sets in and I take Aak for even more meme-y usages.
Every post about Lappland talks about how she falls off in chapter 7 because everything is silence immune.
Is that the only issue? Lappland is still solid damage even if she isn't silencing.
I think it's mostly that the permanent silence is her unique thing that makes you want to field her specifically over any of the other guard options. Frostleaf is the same pattern and brings slows instead. SA is the burst god.
Lappland's S2 does have a place though... aside from the same mixed damage issue Ch'en hits when everything has resist so it can survive walking anywhere near Eyja.

Lappland only fell off for me when I got Thorns, because Thorns is clearly peak performance Lappland. Lapp is still good as a backup option for routes that Thorns isn't covering.
I'm still rolling the Liskarm + Lappland team wherever I can set it up and it hasn't disappointed yet.
For enemies with resistance, I've usually got Eyja or Ifrit in the team, so I can get past some of that, but even resistant enemies take a beating from Lappland's S2 because it's still a really big stick.

Lappers fell off for me when everyone else got so powerful that they can hold without her and I can instead just time drops with Silverash instead.
Went ahead and finished Chapter 7 since I didn't have a specific goal to work towards at the moment. Patriot can't really handle mines + Surtr in the end.

I couldn't believe it when Kal'tsit's summon just Kool-Aid Man'd W through multiple building walls. I presumed they were going to use that time to make her recruitment make more sense. Uh... NOPE.
Free 10-pull, 2 10-pulls with originum, free daily pull, and then 30 pulls from yellow certs later, Rosmontis get. Also potential for Magellan, 4 Whisperains, a couple other 5* potentials, and a shitload of 4*s.

I was also seriously considering getting Saria's S2 to M3.

I've been playing War of the Visions and stamina is practically an afterthought in that game.

This seems to say the pack is coming on the 30th?
Or are you referring to something else?
Oh, huh, I missed that.
Cool, I guess I'm picking up uh
I don't know, actually? I'll have to think about it. Probably Hellugar or Schwarz, leaning towards the later.

Lappland is an MVP for being able to silence a lot of the frozen bugs.
(okay for real Suzuran is pretty busted though and you should probably actually take her)
Now farming for Schwartz.
Guess I should have at least kept logging in for the Grani event rerun to farm Loxic Kohl.

Might have time and sanity tomorrow to finish chapter 7 tomorrow.
