Mmm, that was good luck. I had this bad feeling I was going to get trashed on this banner but it worked out ok.
135 pulls; 60 of those were from saved up originum, the rest were tickets. Though I did pause half-way through to dump tokens and empty out the yellow cert shop for those.
But I maxed out Whisperain and 4 6*'s, all on-banner. I got 3 Rosmontis' before I finally got a Mudrock.
Leaves me ticket-less but still have 33k in originum and 37k in primes left.

I managed to get everyone, tho Rosmontis took awhile (had to dip into the yellow crystals a bit). Guess I'll have to work on the new chapter so I can upgrade Mudrock... I have everything else I need for her except for that new material. But got Rosmontis upgraded at least.
I spent my certs and got rosmontis, but didn't get mudrock. my limited banners are 0/3 on pulling the 6* i want so far. got aak from that one, like 4 weedys before i pitied W on that one, and now rosmontis on this one heh.
oh well, i might go for a 2nd 6* eventually, but it took me like 60 pulls to get this one so a bit rough.
Early pulls were surprisingly terrible, but I have ended up with Mudrock without exhausting everything. I'll see if Rosmontis visits with the free pulls before committing more.
How the pulls went: Hoshiguma (dupe), MUDROCK REJOICE YAY, Phantom (dupe), Hellagur (dupe), Mudrock #2, then finally Mudrock #3 & Rosmontis same pull.
Damages: 231/300. All saved tickets. All saved Orundum. Two pulls of converted Prime.
Phew.
Now the big question for my Operator Permit: CEOBE??? Or... ROSA????

That reminds me of mine :P I think I pulled two Mudrocks, a Rosa, a Ceobe and a Magellan before finally getting Rosmontis.
I also totally forgot about the permit. I'm gonna have to decide who I want a dupe of, since I have everyone But merges are always nice. As for your question, personally I'd say Ceobe is probably more useful? Rosa is cool but her attack range is super weird and a bit annoying to work around at times. But that's not to say she's bad either.
(edit: Honestly I'll probably just end up merging up Schwarz since she's one of my favorites and I think I already have Blaze and Siege maxed... tho I may need another merge on Ifrit... hmmmmmmmm)
I won't be able to E2 either bonk or cat for a while, since I 1) went full stupid and blew all my LMD getting Amiya to E280, and 2) decided to work on Phantom next anyways after he spooked me during the Sutr banner.
Oh well, I'll get to them eventually.

Yeah, doing that one was .. something. I basically saved up my DP and did a triple-drop of Surtr, Eyja, and SilverAsh and just nuked it to death. Retreat them once it's dead and repeat when it comes back to life.
Oh and Nightingale's S3 when doing the nuke was super helpful at keeping my actual wave-clearing guys alive.
Now M8-6 on the other hand... fuuuck that was painful trying to keep all the soldiers alive. Just throwing every defender at the wall trying to keep them alive long enough for SilverAsh or Surtr to murder the waves.

wait till y'all get to JT8-3
anyways the new Annihilation map is out guardknights
it's fairly straightforward, you defend 2 chokes while dropping an anti-air sniper left side to shoot down drones for stuff to help you clear out mushrooms for ranged deploy slots and other goodies to help out
I'd keep a few mushrooms up though so your ranged ops can take hits from the various ranged units that come in since some of them are pretty nasty
The two boss knights from Maria Nearl make a return, as expected of Kazimierz Annihilation, but they don't show up simultaneously so handling them isn't nearly as hard

My final formation:
Notes:
Eyja was a heli for most of the map to kill the drones on the far left. She's currently sitting in a spot that was Exu's for most of the map before she got bonked by the melee knight. I personally derped the first wave for not knowing the drone movement ahead of time and the last wave I hit Volcano too early and she got frozen through most of it.
SA schwing'd only once for the archer knight and was almost entirely superfluous otherwise. I think I could've not had him at all there and it would still have been fine
Surtr drops are all fairly obvious, she can solo out any of the middle knights (I used her on a couple of the lance knights) and combos on the big melee and archer boss knights once they hit my frontline
Gotta check to make sure my autodeploy works consistently (it sometimes flashes a yellow warning on one of the drone waves at around ~270), but Ani4 wasn't too bad.
Pretty basic formation: Blaze + SA + Lappland to hold the bottom lane, Thorns + Eyja for the top with Suzuran support, Saria and Ptilopsis for healing, and a rotating cast of vanguards (Siege/Texas/Myrtle) to rack up DP early so I could keep redploying Exu for each drone wave.
W and Thorns abused. W with a constantly up S3 is bonkers.
Only quick redeploy was Eyja and Silver Ash up early on to take care of the first wave of drones for mushroom. Then put in the back like everyone else afterwards. Also, I need to redo this later to prevent poor Ptilopsis from dying to the final archer now that I know he's coming.
398, the last 2 Bladehelm Knightclub Elite took out my Ifrit at the top and the rest went down shortly after.
I'll drop the strat that most closely resembles what I'm doing. I might need to juggle Lappland around, but honestly she's holding pretty well.
I've got Saria and Mousse on the bottom and later on drop SilverAsh down there behind Mousse. Also using Angelina to help with some of the higher defense mobs later in the stage.
Nice to have a stage that forced you to play completely different than normal, real fun change of pace.
Also a big fan of challenges to unlock random bits of extra lore, those are the best types of challenges.

Man, fuck JT8-3... I was slamming my face against it all last night. I might just have to give up and look up a guide.. every time I kill her she just nukes the hell out of my entire team. Managed to keep them alive with Nightingale but the second death just wipes everyone out I can't keep up with the insane damage output no matter how many healers I throw at the problem

So the giant fire wave only hits the first unit in a row. So like, if you have a bunch of units in a straight horizontal line, only the first one will get hit.
The strategy I used just had some cheap/fast redeploy units and you leave a space in front of your lineup and just drop them in front and replace as they die until the wave is over.
Also, Saria for sure (and probably Nearl) can just tank/heal through it if you have their auto-healing skill set.

How many hits are there? Because that sounds like a Gravel situation. Ironically, also a Blaze situation due to her immortality passive.

I don't know about the first wave; I had Nightingale throw up her S3 and she was able to keep everyone alive with that on pretty easily.
The second wave ate through Gravel and her shield (E1 Max Level, skill 7) and Projekt Red and Bagpipe before dissipating.
Yikes, anything that can punch through Gravel and keep going is nasty. Might have to bring Spectre to that fight then, I assume it lasts less than the uptime of her S2 so she can laugh it off.

Yeah the first wave was ok, the second just destroyed everyone. I suppose I could try some quick deploys, but not sure how well it'd work... I feel like already I need to spam healers on my roster to stay alive. I think last attempt I was bringing Nightingale, Ptilopsis, Silence, Saria, and even Shining just to get more heals (she was my next highest healer that wasn't Warfarin cuz no way I'm bringing a healer that leeches HP...). I just promoted that new healer Whisperain to e2 so maybe I'll swap her in. Her passive seems pretty good? And her heal range is funky large which I kinda like.
Honestly, none of this would even be an issue if not for the other adds. Aside from them loving to leak through while I'm dealing with Talulah, they refuse to continue spawning until AFTER each death, meaning when all the fireballs are hammering my tanks
(I wish I had money and xp thingies, I'd pump more levels into Nightingale to help... but right now I'm super low on both)
So I'm hearing I should put my E2 30 Nightingale on my support list for a bit. Come to think of it, her summons can block the fire for a bit too can't they? (75 resist... actually that makes them invincible against arts damage under her S3 doesn't it?)
I haven’t E2 for Astesia yet because Mousse is my girl.
Got 400 finally in Annihilation 4. Still messed up at the end and let Eyja die whe I was watching bottom, but Utage, Lappland, and some stun bombs cleared it up.

With that in mind, y'all think I should grab Blaze with the selector, or Bagpipe?
Pretty close to out of resources now, I think I can gin up like 60 more pulls total which is pretty risky.
Edit: well, my free pull today got me thorns. Not what I was looking for but probably the best off banner pull I could have gotten
Probably going to take a bit to level people before I try clearing this chapter...
