I have huge hands and the Dreamcast controller felt like it was designed for someone with bigger hands than me. That Duke controller looks like, identically bad to the Dreamcast controller, but without seeing the shoulder buttons I can't be sure.

Claymates is probably the oldest video game I would describe with predominantly the word "charming". It's got a ton of personality and has fun with itself and concepts. It's good!
the n64 controller was silly but it was at least moderately ergonomic and functional
It wasn't uncomfortable it just made no sense to have a d-pad and a joystick on a separate handle. It made it nearly impossible for a developer to meaningfully incorporate both functions and the center handle being off center made for an awkward grip when using the stick.

Our Switch appears to be dead. Won't charge and won't turn on. We've tried charging it with the adapter my son usually uses and with the dock. My son was using it for a while yesterday and had it laying on a blanket while doing so. He noticed at some point that it was extremely hot so he turned it off and put it on a cool surface for an hour or so. It was working when he turned it back on after that and he used it until the battery was down to 4% and then turned it off and plugged it into charge, and it's been a paperweight since then.
Any suggestions before I see if I try calling the Nintendo 800 number? It's almost exactly 3 years old, so outside of warranty.

The thing is the Dreamcast didn't really have a chance NOT to fail. It would have had to have been insanely successful to pull Sega out of the hole the Saturn got them into.

May just be crashed, hold the power button down for 12 seconds to force it to fully power off and see if it starts up normally if you press the power button after that.
When it crashes in sleep mode it looks bricked, this happens pretty commonly.

That did the trick, thank you! I'd tried holding the power button down for maybe 5 seconds or so, but wouldn't have guessed to hold it down that long.

Yeah I don’t know why we are talking about shit controllers when Sony has been shovelling the same shit for over twenty years and for some reason people think it’s a functional controller.

Gamecube was the better choice
Yeah everyone knows it failed because it had the least comfortable controller ever designed.
I mean, who was that even for? A Predator?
Oh, how we forget about the Duke so quickly...
Wish the dreamcast had had another analog stick though.

This was intentional, they weren't supposed to be used regularly.
But having 6 face buttons opens up... Options.
Honestly, I really liked the asymmetric analog sticks.
NONE!
Steam: pazython
Per Wha Happen, apparently there is a small Clay Fighting scene, but it's based on a modified version on emulators, not a Switch version.
Is widget on there yet? That might not be the name actually. I just remember really liking it's three stage power up combos
Mother 3 trailer from 97!!!!
The Nitendo64 controller is among the most ill-conceived of our lifetime and it was still a successful console.
Dreamcast failed for a lot of reasons but for my money the biggest was their format. GD-rom was bad idea with DVD on the horizon.
It had too much going on but I liked using it.

Buying a PS2 was one of the cheapest ways to get a DVD player for a while so it was an easy sale.
Satans..... hints.....
As someone who was a PC player since like 1996, the xbox controller felt easily the most comfortable to hold when I had to choose one
not talking stuff like dpad accuracy and such though
