On the second one, pretty sure that’s how they’ve always worded it. They use Traveler instead of ‘player’. They showed video of you getting fates for multiple chars.
That banner is comically ideal for my side account. I actually want Albedo there to play with, and that account has and frequently uses all three of the featured 4*s. More than anything, I really just want C1 for Sucrose. I think I want that even more than Bennett's.
I have Bennet C1, and... all the rest look meh until C6? Or am I missing something.
Fischl has a place-able turret (OZ/raven) and is a good bow based phys dps (with c1/c2, I forget which allows Oz to shoot when you do). She kinda becomes a little machine gun.
Sucrose looks like a poor mans Venti, but I don't have her yet so I dunno.

I just need 3 more of each bennett and fischl to get them to C5 and C6 respectively. Hopefully I can do that without hitting an Albedo, but knowing my luck I'll pull a C6 sucrose. :P

So, anyone that played mihoyos other games, is there a typical time before time limited 5* start to show up on a banner again? Never did get Venti, and with about 80 pulls before I'm garantied Zhongli, I think that's too high a price for a supposed f2p game.
I'm about $100 in atm, but since Zhongli seems lackluster, I don't feel he's worth paying for.

I wish they'd just make it relatively easy/inexpensive to get characters you really want at C0, and get their BIG GACHA $$$ from constellations and weapons and (presumably at some point) skins.
But then, I'm hardly the target they care about, am I? I've maybe spent a few hundred on MTX and gacha shit in the game I've bought the most MTX in (plus a lot more towards expacs and a monthly subscription, because the game in question is ESO) while mega whales are out there spending ten times that per month.
I can't say they should change it from a financial standpoint, because really I have no clue if there's actually a worthwhile market of people like me out there. People who will spend more than we probably should if dropping 'just' $5 or so feels rewarding, but will stick to the monthly $5 and nothing more if the math looks like $4000 to get a particular non-banner 5-star you want at C0 and $5 of gems gets you...a single 3-star weapon, maybe two 3-star weapons if you have some gems already.
I don't know, I kind of like the variety of team building. Like if everyone had access to the same characters, then the meta takes over and everyone gravitates to the same team comps. I know if I had Diluc, I would be building that team and nothing else. Working with what you got and building a functional team is half the fun, and I think in general Mihoyo has done a good job at making everything viable so there really isn't a gameplay need to spend $4000 to get a particular 5-star, and the ones you do have end up feeling very special.
Speaking of, when are they putting out the switch and xbox ports?? It's not like they don't have cash to pay people to move it over. I saw a screenshot of a guy on pc using an xbox controller and it had all the button prompts mapped on the screen just fine; seems like it should be trivial to just move it over (for series s/x at the very least if performance is a problem).

I don't remember about limited adventurers. I do know that a number of the rare frames from Honkai Impact came into the game later as grindable items. I doubt adventurers will be free with grinding, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the constellations become available later on through big quests.
We'll see how he shapes up after release. From datamined stuff, I could definitely see him being a strong dps with that C2, but he might still function as a support without it. I'm certainly not sure, though. Geo characters are very difficult to evaluate, as we learned with Zhongli.
Huh. So Albedo's skill is to create a giant AOE field that also has a platform in the middle you can stand on. First off, a lot of attacks and enemy AI just break if you're above them and they can't do a thing to you. And second, given Klee's method of attack, she gains a whole lot of range if she has the high ground. There might be some ridiculous synergy where Klee can attack everything on the field with zero risk at all. If this turns out to actually be a thing... I might have to consider trying for this banner.

First off, a lot of attacks and enemy AI just break if you're above them and they can't do a thing to you.
You know, this might be an underrated feature. You can avoid plenty of massive aoe attacks just by being a couple inches off the ground. Even stormterror's big claw attacks do nothing if you are gliding. I saw plenty of videos showing people avoiding attacks by climbing on zhongli's steles or traveler rocks, but it was always just memes cause it took forever to climb up and the construct took damage and was destroyed by the attack so it only worked as a one off. Since the flower floats, if it doesn't actually take attack damage and you can stay up there forever... could be ridiculous for basically any ranged dps.
So has anyone had problems with it not remembering your login? For the past week and change I've had to login every single time I booted, whereas before it only randomly logged me out like once a week, max

Real account just collected its blue fates and did some standard rolls, and got Keqing. Christ, that's a hell of a get that I wasn't expecting. Maybe I'll have to swap Beidou back to being a support after all, and let Keqing take over the electric DPS job. Can probably just slot her in to the same team with Xingqiu/Bennett/Venti and clean up.

50 pulls on real banner: 2 Fischl, 2 Bennett, 1 Xingqui, Bell, and Rainslasher
Gets me the C6 Fischl I wanted (I was shocked to get her as my first pull on the standard banner!). Still only c4 bennett, but think I'm going to stop here as I don't want an Albedo without learning more. Still a ways off of the soft pity, but don't want to risk it for just one more bennett constellation.
...actually now that I look at this, I got super lucky not getting a single sucrose in all that!
Pulls went pretty we'll so far. Free pulls got me a rust, a stringless and c4 Xinyan. Banner pulls got me Sucrose plus her C1, C5 AND C6 for Fischl on the same pull and some random weapons. I'll keep going on the banner as I earn primogems because I will want C1 Bennett, but I'm out for now.

I'm at 77 pulls (got another freaking sucrose) and I'm scared to keep pulling. But I really need C1 Bennet, because he's so good in this new area. And like, in general

EDIT: Incidentally, I think Albedo is the worst case yet of a 5* that needs his constellation to function.

EDIT: Had thirty draws saved up, was just enough to get me Albedo on my last pull, along with a couple more Sucrose and Fischl stars

Happy with the weapons, getting a second useless Barbara when I'm missing so many of the other 4*s is really annoying.
