For the last couple days, when browsing around the forum, I think it's usually when I'm looking at the thread list, my avast is popping up saying something is trying to connect to http://static.hugedomains.com

    Usually that means it's someone's avatar or signature that's hosted there.

    avatars are all uploaded to PA's servers now so it's likely an image either hotlinked in a signature or in a thread.
    You can safely adblock or blacklist or whatever the domain you're concerned about and the forums will still work fine.
