Auto colour-coding text

Space PickleSpace Pickle Registered User regular
Hi, I'm looking for a word processor that will automatically colour-code letters as I type them. I would like to be able to pre-define what colours I want particular letters, as well.

I realize this functionality may not exist. :p

There are text editors like Notepad++ that have syntax highlighting options. It looks like Notepad++ is limited to 8 keywords to set up like this. But a text editor isn't a word processor.

You can mess with Microsoft Word's autocorrect to format text for you, but if you mean automatically color-code words based on the starting letters, I don't think it can do that. What autocorrect can do is basically an on-the-fly search-and-replace.
