Vancouver is easily the most racist part of Washington state. For those who don't know, that's where our state's official and unofficial headquarters are for Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys, respectively. Also 8chan is, I believe, still hosted on a server farm there. It should come as no surprise then that the police of the area are also racist as fuck.

As a recent Washington native (aka, dirty non native.) , When you make fucking Chehalis look fucking sane in comparison. And they have way more White People than Vancouver, WA?

That is fucking shocking to me.

    Just like several Milwaukee's.

    On in Oregon, for example.

Vancouver is basically a racist suburb of Portland at this point. A lot of its residents work/buy in Oregon but live in Washington because we don't have an income tax here (Oregon has no sales tax). At one point Vancouverites wanted a bridge into Oregon directly from town because they didn't want to go over I-5 to get into downtown Portland, but didn't want to pay for it in local taxes/levies. They lobbied both legislatures to use state funds to build it. This resulted in both the Oregon and Washington state governments uniting briefly for a moment to tell them to go fuck themselves.

Vancouver, British Columbia is not, as one might think, located on Vancouver Island.

Vancouver, Washington, is also not located on Vancouver island.

Mt. Washington, however, is located on Vancouver Island.

Not to be confused with the other Mt Washington, which is in the US but nowhere near Washington

That pretty wildly misrepresents Vancouver, though it absolutely gets used as a rallying point for shitlord groups like Patriot Prayer and Proud Boys. There are many awful people in Vancouver in their own right, but those groups are there because of it's access to Portland, not because the whole city supports that. Most of them don't even live in Vancouver, but adjoining towns.

It's very difficult to know which Washington is which. The feeling of knowing you're in a certain Washington even though you're in a different one is of course called the Washington disconnect.

it sure would be a shame if the police got hand-me-down shit from the military that i guess is now filtering down to brownshirts that determined people in afghanistan and iraq have spent the past twenty years meticulously documenting how best to disable them

oh it's even better than that:
The Blackwater Grizzly APC, offered here today is a 22 ton armored infantry mobility was designed and built for the US Army and its unique design would handle .50 caliber rounds and absorb and deflect blast from underneath to protect its cargo and humans. The Blackwater Company was commissioned by the US Government to produce these vehicles for modern day warfare and combat. But just like every war the US is involved in, projections were off and the need for Blackwater to complete its order was obsolete and larger companies who have a strong influence on US Policies like Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics were awarded the contracts exceeding of $120 million dollars. If you’re a car guy, you can compare it the same story as the Tucker in the late 40’s. Big companies such as GM, Ford and Chrysler didn’t want the little guy to succeed and would do what it takes to wipe them out such as Lockheed and General Dynamics did. But it did give the Blackwater Worldwide Company a chance to prove that they could build something as well or better than the big guys and only a handful of these wicked, fierce machines were built and never saw combat. Essentially these vehicles are brand new and most of them with less than 1000 miles on them.

or to sum it up in one hilarious tweet:
