Mostly because right around the time i was first getting into it (on PS3), all the threads were nothing but “here’s all the mods to install immediately” and “here’s a mod that makes it a completely different game than what you thought you wanted to play” and “why doesn’t this one mod work” and “realistic horse anus mod 3.7 is now available”
That was one of the last games where i actually bought a guide to have on hand.

My new audio interface came in. It's a MOTU M-2, and it's pretty damn schmexy. I can now record in 192kHz sample rate with bit depth of 32-bit float. And check out that latency at 256 buffer size (which is pretty generous at that sample rate)! 1.5ms/3.6ms round trip.
850 games updated..... only 815 games left to update..... i really hate this feeling i have right now. that i spent too much on videos game
I try not to think about how much money I have blown on barely-played video games 💸
I mean tbh most of the games in my library were basically free.
Like Steam said "Hey you wanna pay 50% less on these two games? Ok cool now here take these other dozen. NO I SAID YOU TAKE THEM"
And yet, how many dollars in the end ..

The Secret Fire of Prometheus
Realistic Horse Anus Mod 3.6 is a complete redesign of the game, including new faction quests, a satisfying conclusion to the civil war storyline, and a full replacement of every NPC’s face with a horse anus

I've been watching someone play through Oblivion again because I cannot stand interfacing with that game's UI but I find it infinitely deeper than Skyrim

I pushed the buffer size even lower to 128 and got 0.9ms/2.2ms, but I'll have to run some audio tests to see if my recordings still end up clean at that buffer size. I think my system can handle it (i7-8700 and plenty of RAM), but I don't want to fuck stuff up.

All told over the last decade or so for Steam Sales?
Probably like two to three grand. It's been at least a couple of years since there's been anything in a sale that I've even picked up I think.
So like anywhere from an ok guitar and an awesome guitar to a few good guitars :P
*edit*
Though that's probably including games that I payed full price for and actually finished too. tbh it's possible I've spent more on Rock Band than I have on my steam library.
hm so coderpad, which is used for programming interviews, doesn't include matplotlib in it (but does have numpy/scipy/scikit-learn)
how am I supposed to like...look at things?
I guess they just won't ask me to look at anything, but if they want to see my approach to data analysis, that involves looking at things
So scary! I still really don't love the thought of programming while someone is watching
I guess I will now do some practice while narrating my coding to a fake interviewer...?
any way to quickly copy and paste into a spyder IDE or something?
I think that would sadly circumvent what they want, which is to watch you code. They say you can look shit up on google as you code; they want to see your whole method.
So I just implemented Conway's game of life in this coderpad app while talking about it, so I could practice. It works and I wasn't super incoherent--to the air, might be different if someone was asking me questions--so that's a good sign, as long as I'm allowed to do something easy...?

When my husband plays skyrim, he uses tasteful nude mods and modest replacement bodies for all the men. This is of course with the exception of some companion mod he uses where this mountainous greek god himbo is his best friend and a fully romanceable questing companion.
The women are all low res and completely stock and dressed in clothes from the "woman" bin like emma stone in that snl short where she plays the wife in gay porn.
Thousands of hot, local singles are waiting to play at bubbulon.com.
There's some really good mods for dragons in skyrim. Also the combat and the levelling. I once had a game where an undead zombie dragon soared overhead near whiterun and roared at me, blasting out a purple shockwave in every direction.
Then the dragon tried to kill me, but I shot it to death with arrows, as you do.
But then!
Turns out that purple wave was an animate dead spell. So every dead thing for a few miles was trying to kill me, which included a WHOLE LOT of wildlife, an entire bandit camp I had taken out, etc. That was a good mod.
Whenever I play skyrim now I do a necromancer and try to animate the coolest person I can to follow me around and murder their friends.

I don't bother going forward with the main quest in Skyrim because it really is unimportant to enjoying the game and not doing so also precludes dragons

Morrowind was fun from what I played of it but it was slow paced to the point that lost interest and moved on. I think it held my attention longer than oblivion though

morrowind's going to blow your mind
I'll be honest I prefer watching Oblivion because Morrowind's NPC interface system is too Win95 for me
It is of course superior when adjusted for year released, but at this point that is a purist's argument and reeks of boomerism

According to steam I played skyrim for 55 hours which seems crazy to me because I don’t feel like I actually did anything in that game. Mostly all I remember is a cool mage quest line and a village in the snow.
