I stayed up late watching "The Witch" (I thought it was really good!). Then when I woke up, my Series X shipping had updated from the 24th to tomorrow. So uh... I might be a witch now, woops.

There was a rash of catalytic converter thefts from Priuses in San Diego a few years ago. Every week or two you'd read about someone in the news or on Nextdoor who had it happen to them -- apparently it takes less than a minute with the right tools, and sells for over $100 -- and now there are third party products specifically advertised to prevent this kind of theft.
Got mine from Microsoft. Set it up. Really cool. Very fast and snappy.
One note: If anyone picks up Observer System Redux, 4K is not enabled by default. You have to go into the video settings in the game and enable it and apply.
Only one got delivered but so far so good. The controller feels wonderful - I'm just doing updates/etc for now - probably won't be playing anything until later tonight.
* Just to clarify - I only ordered one Xbox Series X - this is just because of my triple out for delivery message above.
So what's available for the series x that's new and what's been updated? Is there a list somewhere? Last gen I picked up a titanfall bundle and had that, forza, and dead rising I believe to play at launch. (Well 2 months after launch)
My Series X finally arrived. As I guessed it was something with UPS’s system as it never even got to the ‘out for delivery’ phase. It said ‘in transit’ right until the truck pulled in.
Everything is updating but at first try I’m really digging the controller. Nice and grippy, and the dpad has a nice tactile click to it.

Haven't played it yet, but bought the new Yakuza game when I tried to play dumb and see if I could get an X at Gamestop today. The day ichi edition is a steelbook case. Classy. All new generation games should come with a steelbook, would sort of make a 10 buck increase on the game feel a little better UwU.
Got mine, but literally can't sign into my account. It's some kinda wide bug, because I can't sign in on my X1X either. Tried hard resetting everything. Can't "remove" the account from the xbox's either, just get an error.
Bummer.
Edit: For clarity, gets stuck on sign-in with the spinning circle thing.
Edit2: Update! Fixed it. Full reset of console, and this time I logged in with name/pw instead of using the app or microsoft.com/link. Working now

On the Xbox Showcase, the guy from Playground Games Studios really wanted to keep playing FH4. They practically had to pry that controller out of his hands.
I’m bummed I was so looking forward to replaying fallen order on a machine that can actually handle it where I don’t fall through the world because I move faster then the loading screen.

Series X arrived! I have it slowly transferring files right now! Had a heart attack moment when I plugged in my old x's hdr cable and it didn't recognize a signal, used the new cable included with the series x worked no issue. I am going to laugh if I move valhalla from my usb hard drive for it to basically redownload the game anyway is what it looks like it wants to do.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

One disappointment the new controller doesn't work with my older battery pack. It doesn't really matter since my xbone controller will work, but darn it!
Was able to get my old one controller and headset working no issue.

I dumped my battery packs a few months back and went pure rechargeable AAs. Between controllers and baby toys on getting my money's worth from them.
Edit: I went ahead and hardwired my Series to my router, only have the one ethernet but it seemed to at least double my transfer rate. Definitely raised the speed floor.
