This was the first weekend where using the Igneous worked for me, I've had a hell of a time using True Prophecy and the IB 120, I just don't like the way they feel. Now Igneous on the other hand feels a bit sticker with the AA and headshots line up easier. I had to kinda force myself to use it to start because the rhythm is bad, but basically you have time to fire two shots and if you don't feel like you're gonna get a kill on shot three, just Bakris out of there.
That really sucks. It’s definitely a pain in the ass that both columns have a 1 in 5 chance of being total shit, even counting pve. Subsistence and one for all are just crap on handcannons in general.
Igneous roll highlights include killing wind/snapshot, killing wind/rampage, and rapid hit/rampage. That last one is probably the best but I haven't had a chance to use it yet (smallbore/tac mag/RH/rampage reload MW).
One For All is good on other HCs imo. My Reconstruction/One For All Posterity from the raid is a fucking beast. But being a 180 and having Reconstruction really helps that a lot. I like it on my Palindrome too. 120s just fire too damn slow and have too small a mag to make it work though. And I kinda feel like 120s are crap in PvE anyway.
Subsistence I don't like on any of the lower mag weapons personally. HCs, SMGs, Sidearms, all of them suck with it cause it feels like the extra ammo on kill is so little as to be useless.
I did some elimination games to unlock Trials today. In the final round in the final game I was last guardian standing and I managed to kill the entire other team. Apparently I'm a pvp god.
I ran the Grandmaster twice so everyone could get an adept weapon. Pretty fun as far as GMs go. It's not too difficult with the right team setup since you can camp in relatively safe spaces for all the big combat sections.
I ran middle tree void titan with Ursa Furiosa and used Le Monarque as my exotic weapon of choice. Both were excellent.
Ticcu's is fantastic as well for GM's. It unseated Eriana's (at least this season with Overload Bow). But yeah 2 Ticcus, 1 LeMonarque, and some Scouts/Snipers for Barriers and this thing is one of the easier (if longer) GMs.
Two manned the GM, because someone disconnected 5 minutes in and we decided to keep going until they got back (they never did). That was not as terrible as I expected, even though I died quite a few times it’s making me consider a solo.
5 GMs this week dropped 5 adept Swarms and 2 adept mods. Hopefully my drop rate is the same next week, because I ran with a couple of people who saw 0 drops.
Edit: I guess it’s not a big deal since it’s an easy GM, but the triumph for completing the Devil’s Lair to gild the conqueror title was not retroactive. After running the GM with all 4 subclasses, I had to run it again after the new triumphs unlocked.
It hits like a truck in PvP with easy 2 headshot kill potential if you have Rampage, Empowering Rift, etc. I don't suspect it's much fun to use in PvE because it shoots sloooow.
Igneous Rolls:
Outlaw/Moving Target
Quickdraw/Moving Target
Outlaw/One For all
Outlaw/One for All
Quickdraw/One for All
Killing Wind/One for All
Rapid Hit/Celerity
Quickdraw/Moving Target is probably the winner, but jeez dude.

Trying to help buddies through to 3 wins and after our second win (and second loss), we got matched up against a team that was on THEIR flawless game 7. You can guess how that went with two players on my team who are fairly new to Trials. I just sighed at the matchmaking.

My best hammer rolls so far for PvP are Outlaw / Rampage and an interesting (but probably not the best) Quickdraw / Snapshot Sights (it's SNAPPY) , but I do have an Outlaw / One for All that I actually like using for PvE. Not saying it's meta for GM's (at all), but it's fun as it's easy to get it rolling in PvE.
Drifter gifted me with a Rapid Hit / Explosive Payload Bottom Dollar, though, so I've been using that in 3s :rotate:

I'm finding I barely use my energy weapon because my kinetic pops shields just fine. The only time it feels beneficial to switch is when a boss has shields. Am I missing a trick?
The difference in shield-popping capabilities feels marginal vs. the time lost switching weapons. Am I doing it right?

It's not a huge issue on normal strikes, but becomes a major issue in Grandmaster Nightfalls or events with "Match Game".
Once you get used to rapidly switching weapons, it helps in normal stuff too, though.

So, based on last week's cutscene at the HELM, I guess we know now what the one in the season's trailer...
...with Zavala, Crow and Caital meeting together is about. I still feel that Zavala's gonna find out about Crow's identity there via Spider telling Caital as revenge.

Zavela is the only onw who doesn't know. Everyone's keeping it from him because it will be more dramatic that way I guess.

why are they keeping it from Zavala? Wasn't he the one who got the least revengey when Cayde died?

There may be more details in the Lore somewhere but my guess is he will overreact because he feels guilty about not avenging Cayde himself.

Ikora knows, there's a whole Lore entry of her feeling guilty about keeping it from him after the assassination attempt.
Fixed an issue that prevented Scan and Heroic VIP patrols from appearing on Europa.

Duskfield Grenade
Reduced how strongly Duskfield Grenade pulls players inwards, effectively reducing the pull range from 9.5m to ~6m. PvE pull impulse is unchanged.
Reduced the slow stacks applied to players by the grenade detonation from 20 to 10 stacks. Detonation slow stacks are unchanged in PvE.
Reduced the slow stacks applied to players on each tick of the grenade from ten to five stacks. Per-tick slow stacks are unchanged in PvE.
Replaced the “Bound in Memory” Triumph with “All the Scattered Memories" to ensure players who missed a week of playing the Presage activity could earn the seal before the Season ended.
Seasonal seal got changed, now you don't need to get all the Captain's Logs since it was impossible to to finish if you didn't run Presage every week (like me, who has forgotten to run it since it came out)
New Triumph requires you to kill a bunch of VIPs on the new strike, they seem to spawn randomly so go run it a couple times
First match impressions of the nerf. Shurikens are still really strong for utility. Shatterdive is less ridiculous but still extremely usable, Duskfield still feels hella strong despite the yank nerf. Both are still powerful area denial tools, just not instant win buttons. Bakris Revenants are still nothing to sneeze at, they can get close instantly and Shatterdive still. I'd still call them S tier. Haven't played as Behemoth yet but still seeing quite a few of them around, the neutral game is still super strong.
Overall it probably brought them down to human levels but Slow is still I think too powerful of a debuff. It's need to be a building effect but because most abilities apply a stack of it, it just feels bad.
re: the big secret
I hope the reveal goes something like:
Osiris: The Crow was once Uldren Sov.
Ikora: We're sorry we kept this form you, Zavala, we-
Zavala: Of course he is. I'm not an idiot. And you're not the only one who gets intelligence reports. I thought we jus weren't talking about it because Uldren Sov is dead and bringing it up around Crow would be rude. Ana Bray is meant to be the exception, not the rule.
My Slow rework. Change the stacks to 1×, 2× and 3× times. 1 times slow applies a .25 movement decrease, but you can still jump and dodge away. 2 stacks brings you to current slow, where you can't do much of anything. And the third stack brings it to freeze. Easier to understand and less bullshit when getting hit by a single shuriken or dodge.
Playing Trials this weekend made some of the complaints about stasis make more sense. It felt a lot more annoying to deal with in that environment then just 6v6 control imo.
Especially the duskfield grenade fucking yanking you from half-way across the map out into the open to be instantly killed and there goes that entire round.
Yeah, I just managed to break free of a Behemoth freeze with my Rev ult and tie them for the first time, so Behemoth no long beats everything by default. Very nice.
I'm still topping the leaderboard as a Rev, I really think the next thing to come should be a Bakris nerf. Either a longer cooldown or less distance.

Subsistence/Rampage
Subsistence/One For All
Rapid Hit/One For All
First one is basically everything else fine (smallbore/ricochet round/range MW) if you don't mind subsistence and might work for PvP.
Second 2 are solid for PvE except after trying it out in PvE last night I hate it in PvE and much preferred my Palindrome.
