So if I'm in the bathroom with 4 homeys smoking some dope, we're hotboxing. And then, if I fart in that room, I hotboxed them. Or did I hotbox the room? Did I hotbox a hotbox? What about a Roblox how does that come into this?
should I buy this toy bow that is priced suspiciously close to a real bow
I already have two elastic based toy bows that I use with my cousins in nerf battles, and I've come to like "fake" archery for just plinking at things
this bow is considerably more powerful, but should still largely be safe enough to use outside without going to an actual range, which is a bit too much of a hassle given where i'm currently living
but given the price of the bow with arrows and shipping comes up to like... $170 USD, it's a lot of money to blow on what's largely a toy
I thought that was smoking weed in an enclosed space
In the Missouri Ozarks it's used as both.

I have finished building an Lego tallneck. Now my joy is fleeting and I must find the next ephemeral consumption.
It’s cool though. Not at all poseable without having working knees so it kind of just looks like it’s standing there but maybe you can play a bit and make it look like a walk cycle by not using one of the anchor points in the base.
I messed up one of the stickers because it was too long and have just accepted that in my life.
Any vinyl people in here? I'm thinking of upgrading my AT-60 turntable to something manual. I found a good deal on the ELAC Miracord 50, does anyone have any input on it?
Congratulations!/There's plenty of fish in the sea.

In my depressive fog today I managed to sneak a pre-order in for the Marvel vs Capcom 2 arcade1up cab. First one, they only one I'll ever get I'm sure, but I'm looking forward to it!

I ordered a bunch of art prints off Etsy late last night and I'm pretty excited about some minor redecorating. I mean, look at this
I wonder how much heat the water would lose if I boil it in there and decant it into my pouring kettle before brewing from that
I tend to brew my coffee at like 200f to 205f anyway
How long are you waiting between the transfer and the pour? Water in general is really really good at holding into heat so unless you’re letting it sit out I wouldn’t expect much heat loss.
(My phone just autocorrected loss to Loss and I thought that was really funny)
Boiled a liter and poured it immediately. 700ml into the metal gooseneck kettle I've got and it dropped the perfect amount of temperature in the transfer to be at 205f which would be perfect for brewing with.
My little pouring kettle has a thermometer in the lid is how I checked. Could have confirmed with my instant read I guess.
My brother's anniversary is coming up so ordered a limestone name rock for him. It's got our last name and the logo for both of their colleges carved and painted into it. It's the most I've ever spent on a gift ($400), but I figured it was worth it. They were married on 11/11/11 so this will be their 11th anniversary. I was the best man and wasn't able to afford anything special at that point of my life. These are fairly popular here in Kansas, but I don't know how widespread they are outside of the midwest/prairie states. Like this, but a different name and one of the logos is different:
I'm pretty stoked.
Successfully delivered. I woke up at 5am and had a good ol fashioned panic attack about if we were going to be able to unload it without breaking it or ourselves
Nah I had to start with the Pink Panthers because a good friend of mine loved those and shared them with me as a youngster. I thought about filling 3 of the remaining 4 with Black Panthers, but decided on a bit of variety.
case fans started making ominous noises again, and instead of treating them with machine oil, I went ahead and picked up the NZXT H7 Flow. I've been putting it off for a while, and I'm trying to justify it as the first step towards upgrading everything.
after the usual couple of hours migrating the guts into the new case, it ... seems to be working? *hurriedly knocks on wood*
It's nearly inaudible, at least while idling. It's less RGBy, which is fine by me. I can get pretty fans later if I end up really missing the effect. So much roomier, like wow I can work in here. The cable management is something of a mixed bag, but I blame the PSU and motherboard layouts for most of that. I love the ssd mounts.

yeah it's expensive but kinda justifiable because it's a device that you have to rely on and will be using multiple times a day, every single day, for the next several years
