Years ago, Payday 2 put out a Christmas album, with songs written by the composer and performed by him or the voice cast.

Every year I always find myself listening to this song and even have it on my phone (warning: language).

I just watched A Very Supernatural Christmas, and I'm happy to report that its still an outstanding episode of television.

    I also plan to watch:
-- Season's Greedings (Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman)
-- A Star To Guide Them (Hercules: the Legendary Journeys)
-- A Solstice Carol (Xena: Warrior Princess)

I'm also debating if I need to go to the store and purchase eggnog.

They taste better than they look, I promise. For some reason my family bake stuff on Christmas Eve. I’m stuck alone this year, but I did it anyways.

That reminds me, there are a bunch of Doctor Who Christmas specials I can try to convince my wife to watch.

Well, really some of them aren't very good. Maybe I'll just go for the Scrooge one.

I had one glass of wine earlier out of the bottle I was using for beef shin, was going to move onto beer but decided I didn't want anything cold so made some sort of hot spiced rum thing with milk and coconut oil.

    Now may be whisky time.

It did take me two or three tries to not see that as a weird choice of refrigerator magnet.

It does not feel like Christmas Eve day at all to me!

Won't be seeing family this year so I think I'm going to go hike around the mountains and smell some pine trees or something. Should be good!

It may be delicious but “Boilo” does not sound like the name of something I’d want to drink.

I just finished two days of cookie drop-offs to my friends around town, which had the added bonuses of having excuses to meander in driveways and covered building entrances to chat and catch up

Seemed like they really cheered folks up!

Made plans to mask up and walk my dog with a bunch of friends come January so hopefully I can get a little more social (safely) as well, and Ivy will be a fan I'm sure

My grocery store did not have any lactose-free eggnog.

They had it in October! But not in late December!

So, I will be substituting it for lactose-free chocolate milk.

Home made honeycomb and then an amazing lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve. We managed to finish lockdown and get the state completely cleared in time, wasn’t sure if it would happen.

Hell yeah Tef, such a better way of doing it than heating up the kitchen with the oven.

Cabernet sauvignon is an excellent base for mulled wine. Bit of apple cider and half an orange, stick of cinnamon and a few cloves and baby, you got a mulled wine going.

I have negative holiday cheer this year and I am a consummate scrooge at the best of times. So thats saying something.

Its rainy and I'm still in bed. I might get up and go get some cookie dough, egg nog and booze and slither back home to *maybe* bake the cookies. More n likely I'll just gnaw on the dough log like Gollum eating a raw fish in a cave, hunched up in the darkness.

I don't have specifically festive drinks but my bottle of cherry moonshine and soda water will do quite well
