This is the thread for the appreciation of those cutest of dinosaurs: birbs and borbs.
For those who are unaware, the Audubon Society has provided very scientific descriptions of both for your edification:

Pink robin
Saw-whet owl

Floofs are of course also accepted, as floofs are are also birbs. Borbs are very common this time of year in the northern hemisphere, as birbs fluff themselves up for warmth.

They're just all physicists, who have realized that aerodynamics is COMPLICATED and everything's easier if you model a bird as a perfect sphere, and have consequently tried to evolve into that shape because let's be honest, birds aren't super good at calculus so this seems like the easiest way to get their equations to work.
