I have worked security at complexes and seen newspaper delivery people drive through looking sketchy

And they do it at 2-4AM because people expect the newspaper with their morning coffee and they aren't Santa Claus.

Provide a car? Nah, I did this for a single month and I got hired specifically because I had a van that could hold a shitload of newspapers. Between the "contract worker" pay and gas all I got out of the deal was paying them to fuck up my sleep schedule for a while.
But while I was doing it the whole thing was basically slow-driving down a street hurling alley-oop'ing papers from inside the car to hopefully land on the driveway. It's not hard to see what my job is when rolled up papers are flying from my location every ten seconds.
It's okay though, he was merely struck by a bullet despite what the title said. Unless they determine it wasn't another officer that fired it, anyway, then I bet we're getting an edit
