5 mana for a 2/3 can be good depending on how slow/grindy the format is
Yeah... not sure she fits every deck but there are decks where she is strong. +1/+1 to your board and token making tips the math nicely. Her toughness does make her easy to remove... so... I think I'd look at her as a maybe.

that's the one. Folks are playing Venerable Knight in some white weenie/aggro decks now, even without any other nights to get the boost from it. 2/1 for one is often playable, include an upside and it almost certainly is.
Also the types on this aren't bad, good for both boros warriors and potentially party synergies and maaaaaybe even spirits?
Another (short lived) trading card game I was into would still put flavor text on their online database, even if there was no room for it on the actual card. It would be great if M:TG would also adopt that policy, especially for cycles.

Hmm, yeah even if you can't attack cleanly, you still get a Bird, 2 life, and a sideboard card on top, plus chapter II might deter an attack for a turn? Seems good for control.
edit: geez, does the Dragon get bigger with every tap even if he doesn't have a card to eat? That thing is going to be a real asshole in limited.

Im thinking about late game stall situations where she turns every land draw and ramp spell you don't need into at least some board value.

And it can be turned off and costs one more. It is not very good.
It's also all colorless mana so it's easier to cast which is relevant in a 3 color deck with an imperfect mana base.
It'll also probably be dirt cheap instead of $10.
