I do like the subtle changes to your character model from some of the upgrades, but I wish they had taken it as far as the anime and let you turn yourself into something barely recognizable as human.
I wanna look like a fucking T-800, dammit.
It is unfortunate and odd as like a lot of clothing the assets already exist in game and used by NPCs. Though there are a number of cyber body, head, arms, and legs appearance mods for V available if you're on PC.
Just remember that half the people you meet are below average intelligence.
Meanwhile, there's a (new?) item duplication glitch, so infinite money is still available.
Ooooh do tell.
Works with any stackable item at any vendor, you need at least two to start with.
On the vendor screen, sell your item. Once the amount bar comes up, select at least one less than maximum, hold the sell button (so X on Playstation, A with an Xbox controller, no idea on keyboard), then press confirm (Square/X/Dunno).
You'll sell that amount, then the amount bar will come up again with the same number of items. Sell max, and you'll have sold double -1 of your original item.
Now buy it all back normally from the vendor.
Repeat until the vendor can't buy any more from you.

PC doesn't really matter since you can just use console commands for that.

I'm going to enjoy killing smasher even more next time.
Yeah i have three episodes to go and it has been made abundantly clear nobody is getting a happy ending.

So, is this game on Playstation 5 now in a state that is relatively complete and won't be excessively buggy/problematic? Because I've been playing a lot of the Shadowrun games and I am in the mood to shoot people from first person in some cyberpunk.

My unscientific method of playing it has had no problems 10 hours in.
I've been told that crashes can still happen, but it hasn't happened to me yet, and seems to autosave very often.
I'm still pretty low level, so I can't speak to broken skills/perks or anything.
Nobody remembers the singer. The song remains.

Sorry to interrupt! I just got an Xbox SX and been looking for a new game for it. I borrowed and tried Elden Ring. Didn't know it was a Souls game so I bounced hard off that. Does CP2077 play well on the Xbox SX? Is that upgrade patch out?

On the current gen consoles and PC it's no worse than a Bethesda game. You'll probably see some T posing, some vehicles spawning inside of each other and exploding, some dead bodies still standing up and pointing guns, some general all around jank.
Game breakers are rare, worst bug I've run into recently is that my favorite sniper rifle disappears part way through the point of no return, but they also nerfed the hell out of it so it's also not my favorite anymore.
Loved the new Edgerunners series, and it's really tempting me to reinstall. Originally played right after launch when crafting was super OP just ran around in Sandy slo-mo chopping heads off with a katana. Curious to try a netrunner build this time. Though maybe I should wait until the expansion is out. I don't think I have three full playthroughs in me, since I assume the expansion will have to take place prior to the ending.

Never finished the game always got bogged down in the weeds of side stuff until something else came out that distracted me, my build was always Int/Technical for hacking and crafting.
I want to finish my playthrough, but my 3080 is just not cutting it. But the new card's pricing is super dumb. Not sure what I'll do
o.O
I have a 3080 and the game runs real fine.
To get it playable, I have to drop down to either performance DLSS, which turns it into a blurry mess. Or turn off the RTGI, at which point...what's the point?

I can't comment on any of those terms but you can play the game in "pretty" with a 3080.
And I guess the point would be to experience the game and what it has to offer!
tip.. tip.. TALLY.. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

DLSS is a low resolution render that is upscaled so yeah, it's always going to introduce blur. You might try using the Nvidia control panel and turn on Image Sharpening. Can't speak to the performance hit you might be getting from a Reshade mod though.

I meant the global illumination pass for the ray tracing, which is in the game settings, not the fake (screen space) "RTGI" from reshade. And yeah, performance mode is rendering at 1080p, which is why it's a mess IQ wise. Even quality (1440p) is noticably more fuzzy, but it's probably worth it for the better AA

Reinstalled to have some fun with some of the new features. Transmog is cool, but it's also weird how limited the options are. There are like... 10 options for hats, when I have 30-40 different hats in my inventory alone. I also seem to be wearing a new bandana I didn't have before. I assume it's an Edgerunner thing? But I haven't watched.
So after that ending and desperately wishing it was a happier one , I was reminded what Johny said when V told him he wanted things to turn out better “ Wrong city. Wrong people .” Still trying to figure out hot to express how excellent the ending was , while explaining why I hated it .

Edit - Lucy is now significantly less bae.
Edit2 - no Netflix I don’t want to skip these awesome credits stop asking . Also cyber loli is cool
Trigger: "How crazy can we go with this?"
CDPR: "Yes."
PSA: you can disable autoskipping credits in Netflix's settings(but only on the web version).
Actually, CDPR wanted to axe Rebecca, but Trigger insisted on keeping a loli character in.
edit for correct character
Rebecca is the loli
She's not, though, she's just petite.
Holy fuck that was awful.
I mean, it wasn't, it was great.
But Jesus.

Was it ever explained how weeaboo went from what was depicted in that classic comic to becoming shorthand for western anime nerd?

I know you arent saying specific things here but for a show that just came out this is VERY spoiler-y.
And the post above as well. Its not hard to get pretty good idea about things you may mean.
