It's a cool visual, but you're going to hate running into those new spectres. They're annoying already, fighting them without a ranged weapon in the party is :bigfrown:
The pumpkin guys? I have not had an issue with them. Even when I was running Eula/Zhongli/Bennet/Fischl, I rarely took out fischl for anything other than oz deployment, and most of the time I forgot to do that because everything squished so quickly.

I have problems with them pretty often. They have the same strength of slimes (immune to their element), but with none of the weaknesses (don't trigger reactions). And they keep floating above melee range.
Eula's reach is insane and her final of the five swing combo is a sick diagonal-down airstrike

edit: also, her hold skill is a small neutron star bomb with a large (for it's ease to deploy) aoe. Last night I was running the new team and her hold e was critting for 50k. lol, just lmao
I have been waiting for Eula+Raiden back-to-back badasses art to start popping up with how good they are together and I haven't found hardly any of it yet.
Which kinda sucks, as it's easily the best Wiki for the game. I don't really care about the leaks, it's just the best resource for ingame stuff.

All of the other wikis are varying levels of suck so this is a pretty huge blow. And it's frustrating because these games' hardcore communities live and breathe data mining. It's one of the most popular games in the world, it's going to be data mined, lean into it.

I understand their desire to control information regarding upcoming banners, because it has an impact on player spending. But most companies would pay through the nose for marketing that gets the kind of engagement that the leakers and data miners provide, for free. It's free content for a game who's own content development is already pretty slow by genre standards. And killing such a player friendly resource to get at the leaks is throwing the baby out with the bathwater, seems like.
I think it probably has to do with the blowback over Baal. It's all fun and games when it's just free promo but when wires get crossed about a character's usefulness because of a leak and people start getting pissed off and demanding compensation and whatnot, it becomes too much of a hassle. Not that I'm pushing on either side of that argument, just where my brain went.
Welp I managed to get both the Liyue and Monstadt special fishing rods. Very disappointed as I’m not noticing any real benefit to catch speed or anything. I was ok with the idea that the ultimate reward for fishing is something that makes fishing easier (even if it’s kind of pointless), but having the reward be literally pointless is pretty lame. I guess jokes on me still though, since at this point my OCD requires that I get the Inazuma one to complete the collection.

It's not useless, but if you're good at fishing the benefit is negligible. For people who have trouble with the timing though, it makes a huge difference in how quickly you lose progress when you're outside the brackets.

It looks like The Catch is heavily recommended for Baal - not much a chance of me getting her, out of Xiangling, Rosaria, and Zhong Li (not giving up the HP buff from his white tassel) does it synergize well with any of them?

Yeah both Rosaria and Xiangling would love it. Boosts DMG and CRIT rate for their bursts and gives them energy recharge? There's not much of a downside.
Xiangling would probably be my choice of the two since her Burst costs 80. I try to run her with 200% recharge. But really just put it on whoever you use more.

Are you sure? That is like the exact opposite of the description:
If you can stay within the Ideal Tension Zone while fishing, this rod will shorten the time in which fish will struggle by a stable amount and increase your chances of success.
Either way, I haven’t noticed any real difference when I use it.

So I found out there's a daily catching limit where everything after that is automatically released. They probably said that somewhere and I didn't notice but, yeah, that exists.
Thankfully it happened right after the last Golden Koi I needed for the Catch. Now I can start grinding fish for the refinement mats tomorrow.

I've done enough of that domain that I really, really don't want to know how many times I've cleared it. At the point now though where I have good enough pieces to load up both Raiden and Beidou on different teams and not feel like either one of them is gimped. I don't really mind it though, since I've gotten it down to a consistent 30-35 seconds with the Childe/Xiangling team.
Xiangling and Xingqiu are both using this set as well, and they're in pretty good shape too, but their artifacts aren't at this level.

Yeah I have two full sets of Emblem now on Ei and Mona, still need 2-3 more full sets. I have 2pc Shimenawa on Jean also, don't really need more pieces of it at all. I need to take a break and farm some talents or something for tangible progress as a change of pace.

You don't get to keep the fish after 50 of them. But you can keep fishing. People are using it to farm the 2000 fish caught achievement 🙄
There's the standard batch of new achievements with it. The new event looks like a standard 70 gems/day deal for little work.
But the real draw is that there's a really good spear from it.

The first fishing event area has golden koi, and the second has rusty koi. You can pretty much belt them out now if you want.
This whole fishing event is really taking the piss out of anybody who hardcore fished.
I mean, I don't have to, but if I want to level up The Catch and get the marginal gains over Skyward...
