I thought they were quite tasty. Not something I'll order again, because of the price-to-enjoyment ratio was on the low side (the price was high).

I've been having some digestive difficulties with my usual order from my matcha chai place and I thought it was because they were using whole milk, which I never drink. So today I switched to soy, even though I don't like soy.

The good news is, I can probably rule out soy milk as an effective dairy replacement.
The bad news is, I'm about to have a very unpleasant afternoon.

No idea, won't touch them for environmental reasons. They're probably fine, and coconut is definitely ok, so my new work-around plan (if required) is cutting coconut cream with coconut water.
And really it's more the calcium side of things I've got to be concerned about, it's not like I particularly need to drink milk-like substances very often.

Oat milk maybe? I can't imagine making that would be overly environmentally iffy, it's just oats (but then, never discount capitalism).

You can make your own oat milk!

I enjoy very much that A. every video result claims that they know how to make oat milk that isn't slimy, which is a disclaimer I want on all of my recipes now and B. this one says you can make it with or without a nut milk bag and I don't know what that is but it is a hilarious phrase that I will use at the soonest opportunity.
